Wedding stuff. Everything went really well, I just expected a meltdown and only had a minor one on Friday. In between the packing, last minute wedding stuff and the fact that my mom wanted me to go all the way over to her house to visit relatives, I guess a meltdown was deserved. I also squeezed a hair cut and a nail application in. That night we all went out to Boutins restaurant to eat. Boutins is a nice Cajun restaurant here in town. They brought us in front of everyone in the restaruant. Grr. Well Chris had to double dip too since it was his birthday too.

The actual wedding day started off well too even though it was raining like crazy. It was pouring as we were trying to load everything into the cars. Our luggage and the rest of the wedding stuff too. We finally got everything ready and headed over to the Garden Center. Started setting up stuff until Devyn and I had to leave at 8 to do our hair and make up. Got that over with and helped finish everything up. By then people were starting to arrive and then it was time for us to get dressed. Everything was beautiful. David (my brother-in-law) thought it would be cute to pretend like he forgot the rings during the service. I think I knew what he was doing but was shocked that he was actually doing it. Grrr. hehe It was funny. I'm sure I had a great look on my face when he was doing that!!!

Everything else just went very smoothly. And it went by very fast too. Before I knew it it was time to go. There were no problems with the flights either. We literally walked off the plane in Orlando, took the shuttle and walked downstairs to the Mears Shuttle desk. Checked in there and about 5 minutes later we were in the van on the way to Coronado Springs Resort! It was so cool. I've never been to Orlando when there wasn't any traffic. Of course it was like 12:30 in the morning! It only took about 20 minutes to get from the airport to the resort. Checked in in record time and since we were starving and everything was closed we ordered pizza. I think we finally crashed around 2:30.

We slept in on Sunday obviously, then went to Animal Kingdom. It was kinda crowded but we still managed to walk on to everything. We did the whole park and was finished by around 3. We decided to go to Epcot since the only thing that I've never done yet was Mission: Space. Did that.... LOVED IT! And went back repeatedly!! Oh yea, at Animal Kingdom, we ran across our first DISer. We met Syracuse Wolverine there. He's an employee there and noticed my lime green Dis Fanny pack. We got back to the resort and grabbed a resort shuttle (golf cart) and our driver was raised just a few blocks over from where we live. He saw my LSU t-shirt. Made for some pretty interesting conversation. I wore an LSU Tshirt every day of the week and heard alot of "Geaux Tigers" calls. It was very cool.

Monday we went to Universal. We had originally planned to do Universal one day and IOA the next. We finished EVERYTHING at US at about 12:30 and went on to finish IOA by 5:30 that evening! So we have 2 one day passes for either park or both left. And saved taxi fare to boot. That night we went to Downtown Disney and did Disney Quest. We have found a new love there too. Any waking spare moment we had we did Disney Quest. It was fabulous. We had such a great time.

Tuesday we went to Epcot, and did the rest of Future World. Then that evening we did the Christmas party. It was much more crowded than I expected, but we did still manage to walk on to most everything I saw another DISer, Macy in line at Cosmic Ray's in Tomorrowland. Then we went to our Buzz Lightyear DIS meet. It was fun. Finally met the famous Dan Murphy. Went on the ride but I got a dud laser. :( I wasn't happy.

Wednesday we hit MGM and had a blast as usual. MGM is my favorite park. I was disappointed though at one point. The store Celebrity 5 and Dime used to have good movie and music memorobilia, but now it's just a typical Disney shop. I was wanting to go there to look for a couple of movie items to give for Christmas gifts. Oh well. I'm still bummed though. After MGM we hit Downtown Disney again and went to check out a few clubs then we opted to go see National Treasure. It was good. I liked it.

Thursday we slept in and then went to hit the rest of Epcot and World Showcase. While there, we went to the Yacht and Beach club to try Beaches and Cream and OH MY GOSH it was so yummy. They have the best burgers and the No Way Jose, ooh yum. I had to call Angey right after to tell her thanks for introducing me to it. It was so good. It was a sundae with peanut butter and chocolate chips. YUMMMM. We also did Illuminations that night. It was different than I remember but still very good. Chris liked it too.

Friday we went and re rode stuff at both Magic and Animal Kingdoms.

Saturday went to MGM again and it was really busy but we did get another ride on RNRC and ToT. Then that night back to Downtown Disney and La Nouba. I can't say enough about Cirque du Soilel other than WOW. I really didn't want to see it at first and was just humoring Chris by going but oh my. It was just phenominal.

Yesterday we just packed and said our goodbyes to Disney. :( Time to go home. Flight home was very uneventful except for the baby whining the whole flight!

All and all we had a really magial trip. We walked onto everything just about and just had a fantastic time. Chris is hooked too I think. He's mentioned about one day buying into the DVC. :)

my dh and I were married on 11/28 six years ago and had our honeymoon at Disney - that is the Best time of year to go - and we try to go always at that time of year. I'm glad to hear you had an amazing time as well - and congrats!

Glad you guys had such a wonderful time, you two truly deserved it!
And I told you about that No Way Jose! I had it twice last week ... mmmm.

Congratulations on your marriage!!

Your honeymoon sounds just wonderful! Beaches & Cream is sooooo yummy! We've gotten a Kitchen Sink with the kids on several occasions - always fun! My son dreams about No Way Joses - his hands-down favorite dessert on this planet!
