Today we spent the day at Lake Umbagog (Um-bay-gog), which is half in New Hampshire and half in Maine! The Lake is about 40 minutes from our house. We take our boat out at least once a week in the summer, so the kids can go swimming and have some great sun time! LOL Today I decided to take along the camera and snap a few shots...it is so beautiful and peaceful on the Lake...DH and I are considering renting a cabin for the week and staying up there next summer...the kids really love going!
The first three shots were taken while we were going out to the middle of the Lake...The beautiful Mountain range is what makes this place so special for us!

When we stopped for lunch along the side of the banks, DH snapped a couple of pictures of the kids...Andrew was using the Binoculars to locate any wildlife!

Savannah had no idea how to use them no matter how many times I showed her, so she just pretended!! LOL

When we resumed our travels after going swimming and eating lunch, we saw an Eagle pass right over us...It was beautiful to watch it swoop down and up high again!

We decided to take a short trip down the Androscoggin River. This is where you enter from the Lake

On our way down the River, we noticed an Eagle's nest, high in the trees!

Also saw alot of Ducks today, which the kids loved to feed!

The kids were worn right out by the end of the day, but I snapped one last picture of them before we got to shore!

We had a lot of fun and will be back out there next week! Just thought I would share our great New Hampshire/Maine scenery! One of the best reasons I love living here...It is just so beautiful!
