Great walk/run in my new Brooks shoes -

(probably not ideal way to break in new shoes but I needed to get a long one in today as we have a lot going on this weekend)

Been sick since Tuesday, ugh! Hate it. I had some kind of bug and then I think spring has been addling my allergies as well. I was only able to manage 20 mins on the treadmill this morning, but I'm really glad to do anything at all today. Should be at 10% by now but oh well. Health is more important. Hubs recommended taking a claritin before bed tonight and he is usually right about these kinds of things :goodvibes


... But she told me my plugged ears are probably caused by my Eustachian tubes being sucked closed. So next I go to an ENT where they should be able to adjust that pressure and pop them open and I can stop living at the bottom of the well!!! :listen:

All walking because I missed my aquafit classes this week. Was planning on making it up with the wii but so far haven't. :(
 
Ok, today I did Day 5 of 30 DS then got in 13 minutes walk/jog outside. I hoped to do longer out there but the wind was painful! So I finished off to an even number and called it done! :rotfl2:

Sorry about the bug, hope the Claritin helps. I'm at the point where: poke a hole in my eardrum--bring it; steroids--dandy; just do something!!!! Hope it doesn't take too long to get in to see the specialist. (drat, I can't find the hourglass smilie!)

437/1700. That's 2 walks this morning. I can tell it's early in the month because I didn't count the 5 minute walk it took from the car to DS's choir concert yesterday. Later at the month I'll be grasping for every minute.

And somebody (Figs?) was talking about running faster and therefore losing minutes. :rotfl2: I remember when I was running (stupid knee) and that started happening. It was such a good and bad feeling! ;) And I did not then (but probably would now) do lunges, etc. to make them up!
