We just returned back from Disney after another wonderful vacation. We had the dining plan and dined at some old favorites and some new places this trip.

1900 Park Fare dinner - Food was great and so were the characters. We were seated within 5 minutes of our ADR time too. The items on the buffet were a great selection and there was some yummy stuff on there. The strawberry soup was excellent. The only thing that I did not like was that we were sat back in the back room of the restaurant. The characters (all but Cinderella, we got sick of waiting for her) did come back for pictures, however when the ball would start and the characters would dance with each other or fight with each other it was all done in the center of the main room. We could hear what was going on but never got to see anything. We will definelty return but wait to get seated in the main area.

Liberty Tree Tavern dinner - Absolutely wonderful, maybe our favorite of the vacation that is after we were seated. We waited over an hour past our ADR time. We did have 12 people but we also had a reservation so I understand waiting a little while but over and hour is a bit much. The place was packed. Once we got seated our food started coming right out. The food was delicious. I loved the turkey, mashed taters, and cornbread stuffing. The rolls were warm and very good too. The character interaction was great. We had each character at our table many many times in the hour or so we were at our table. Kids loved it too.

LeCelier Steakhouse - This was a first timer for us and I had great expectations and it did not disappoint. We had a 5:30 ADR and was seated at 5:15 and there were 9 of us. We had a great server too. Very good breadsticks and they just kept bringing them out. We alll had great steaks except my sister and they promply gave her a new one that melted in her mouth. We all had the smores dessert and my god was it good. Great meal and we will add this to our must list.

Ohana dinner - Our most disappointing meal of the trip and this is usually one of our favorites. We had 5:00 seating so we were seated right away. Not the best server, he was kinda grumpy. We had some of our salad and appetizers before our drinks arrived. Our steak was raw, not even rare and we asked for some cooked a wee bit more and he brought over the same raw steak. We asked again and he brought us some that was burnt. The menu changes really affected us. We loved the potatoes, won tons, and sausage and that is no longer served. The noodles they served are a weird color and were very pasty. Noone at our party ate them. The turkey, chicken wings, salad, and dessert was still good. Think we may take a break from Ohana for a while.

Akersus Princess Breakfast - Very Very good. We were seated within 5 minutes of our ADR and the place was hoppin. We were given drinks and went to the appetizer buffet line which had fruit, cheese, and breads on it. The princesses had already started to come over. We first encountered Belle at the door for our picture that turned out great. You get a 5*7 and (4) 3*5's in a nice folder to take home with you included in the price. The other princesses roaming around were Jasmine, Mulan, Aurora, and Snow White. My daugter was so excited about Mulan that the food could of been horrible and she would still of been happy. The food was anything but horrible. The waiter brough a big platter of eggs, bacon, sausage, and the best potatoe caserole I have ever had. We ate 3 plates of potatoes and there were only 3 adults and 2 kids. We got a ton of great pictures here and the kids loved it.

Coral Reef dinner - Again one of our favorites and it still is. We were seated 5 minutes before our ADR time. Our waiter was a little slow but it was really busy. There were divers in the tank and a giant sea turtle that was visable almost the whole time we were in there. The kids loved that turtle. All of our food was excellent too. THey changed their bread but it is still good. I usually get the chocolate wave for dessert but the waiter talked me into getting the mousse and boy was I glad he did. It was so good I could of eaten 3 bowls of it.

Trails End Breakfast buffet - Not bad for the price. We had family staying at the Fort Wilderness so we met them over there for breakfast one day. Adult buffet was $14 and they had a lot on the buffet. They had muffins, mickey waffles, french toast, eggs, hashbrowns, fruit, and cereal. THey had pretty much anything you could want for breakfast. The place was empty too so we were in there pretty quick.

I'm glad that you had such good dining luck! We usually have great dining experiences as well and I always feel bad for the people that have a miserable time with all of their meals!

I can't believe you waited so long at LTT! When we went last October, we were seated right on time, and we also had a fantastic meal with great character interaction. It was one of our favorite meals as well!

I have been hearing a lot of bad things about Ohana dinner today on this DIS! I have only ever been there for breakfast (my favorite place to eat breakfast in all of WDW) and I was looking forward to trying them out for dinner after reading some good reviews on TR's from DISers who went during Christmas 2007. Apparently they have changed the menu since then and a lot of people are upset about it. Hopefully they'll change it back!

It's great that things went so well for you all. You really made me want to take my 6yo DGD for the princess breakfast; she's a big Mulan fan too.

BTW, love your ID. (Although I thought I was the Tivo Queen, but maybe just for Virginia ;) .)

The Princess breakfast was awesome. I have done this and Cindy's Royal Table and the breakfast at Norway is alot better. It is a must for any Princess fan! Have her wear her princess dress too, most of the little girls there had them on.

I really want to do breakfast there, we did dinner, and the character interaction was great, but the food was not all that good for non- adventurous eaters. LOL

I know what you mean in reference to 'Ohana.

'Ohana is traditionally our first meal of vacation and it is hit or miss every year. When we assure ourselves we will not reserve for the following year, they deliver a good meal and we reverse our decision.

Sounds like you had a great trip!

We loved the strawberry soup at 1900 too, but someone posted the other day that a CM told them it was not going to be served anymore. Hope they were wrong!

We love LTT. So sad that there will be no more characters for dinner next year. I am boycotting with my wallet and won't do dinner after the change. I might have to eat lunch there though.

We LOVE Akershus, best bang for your buck as far as princesses go!!

Thanks for sharing!:)

Thanks for the info. I wondered which was better and it sounds like the Norway Princess breakfast wins. Now she'll have to pick from her Sleeping Beauty, Tinkerbell, Jasmine, and Mulan dresses! (Yes, she is a princess!) GatorLady, you have a beautiful little princess, too!
