Our 4th FP+ of the day...

Just got our fifth fp for the day, Tower of Terror at 8:05 p. The lady nex to me had a regular ticket and there was nothing available for her. I had several choices. They have to be holding some for this.

What size is your party? Do you know what size her party was? It is possible that could account for the difference in availability.

I know I'd be pretty steamed if I got shut out of a headliner as one of my first 3 only to find out it was saved back for others to book as a 4th or 5th.

After you reserved your extra fastpass, can you go into the app and change it to an attraction at any park? Is wishes or msep still an option this late?

I received our 5th fp totally self service, no CM assistance, the lady had no idea what I was booking. I have three people, not sure about her party size. It took less than 30 seconds for me to make the selection and it still offered Fantasmic and RnRC as options.

4th,5th,6th can only be done @ Kiosks...hopefully they will add it to the MDE app later on...also for Park Hoppers/Passholders, you can use 4-6 at another park now also

I as a CM have been told:
"While all additional selections must be made at a FastPass+ kiosk at this time, Guests will be able to view and modify their additional selections on their mobile device using My Disney Experience."

So once the experience is booked, I believe it can be changed to another or a different time/attraction via the app instead of having to use the kiosk.

Toy Story Midway Mania!

We booked it at 4 pm, the CM offered us EVERY single attraction, even Fantasmic, as a choice. We are now holding a 7:05 p FP+ for TSMM this evening, our second of the day!

So for unscientific testing purposes, the additional FP+ is awesome.

Neither of these really surprise me, too much, though they do help calm my worries.

This was our experience the last couple trips during 5 lvl crowds. Today is listed as a 4.

This was one of my biggest complaints to the people who were touting FP+ as so super awesome and how it allowed them to get FPs they would NEVER have gotten otherwise unless they went at RD, etc etc.

There are only about 36% of the year where crowds are "high" ... I am quite hopeful that in moderate and low crowds, the 4th FP will be fine. In previous years we have pulled FPs all morning through mid-day. Gone back to the resort then out to dinner, then back to a park and still been able to pull FPs for use within the hour.

My worry was that with more people using FP than before, that availability wouldn't be there ... it appears that, at least today, it is. Will be reporting quite a bit on my experience, very much hoping this ends up functioning a lot like Legacy FP.

I noticed that you didn't respond to the comments about how that would never have been possible with fp-. If we stipulate that fp+ will have less availability during peak times (coincidentally just like fp-), would you ease off the high confrontation levels so the op can report actual data instead of having to field comments from people who aren't offering anything but an angry opinion?

Shaden, try to break this system when you are there this week. If anyone can, it will be you. I believe you have the closest touring strategy to us and am curious just how much you can stress this thing.

I am not convinced yet that they are holding back and releasing THROUGH the day, but I will do my best to try and figure out if they are

That would mean you could book the 4th FP+ at kiosk (something with LOTs of availability) and then check back before you ride to see if something else is available at a more popular ride
