Our 4 under 4 take on Disney!

Your kids are adorable. What are their ages? I am sure you get a lot of people telling you that you have your hands full. We have five kids, and we hear that all the time. We had our first four in 6 years. Yours look closer in age than mine though. I just remember it being really hard when we had the fourth, because they were all so needy. My oldest is nine now, so when we had this last baby it was a totally different experience. My kids are all helpers now instead of being needy.

Your kids will probably be the best of friends since they are so close. I am enjoying reading about your trip. How old was your son when you found out he had cancer?

Awww thanks! Your kids are so cute as well:)
My oldest are triplets (B,G,B), age 3 1/2. Our youngest (G) is 2. So 4 kids in 18 1/2 months:)

Yes, we get the "you've got your hands full" comment everytime we are out! I can say that we get much less attention than when the triplets were infants! Sometimes they get mistaken for 2 sets of twins.

We found out my son (one of the triplets) had cancer when he was 20 months old. The baby was just two months old at the time. We celebrated his two-year cancer diagnosis date in Disney on Jan 21st! It was as great way to start replacing that bad memory with new, happy ones! He is doing great now:)

I hope to continue our trip report tomorrow. Right now I have 4 sick kids:sad2:

Oh my goodness, I thought it was two sets of twins as well. YOU HAD FOUR KIDS IN DIAPERS!:scared1: I don't know how you do it, you must have never slept the first year with triplets. I don't know how you even find time to blog, LOL. But I am glad you do, because I like to read about it.

I can not imagine having a newborn and finding out one of my kids has cancer. I hope that you had family close to help. So , he has been cancer free for two years, or he was diagnosed two years ago? How long did he have to go through treatments? I am glad that you all got to take a trip to Disney!!:yay:

I am in. I love reading trip report about families with young kids. Smithpak your TR was the first TR I read when finding the disboards, you got me hooked.

I am trying to talk the hubby into taking our kids in November of 2012. We have a 3yo DS and a 1yo DD.

Brady was diagnosed two years ago (Jan 21, 2009) with neuroblastoma. So this Jan 21 was his "two year anniversary." His treatment started the day we found out with a risky surgery to debulk the huge tumor on his spine that was almost paralyzing him. Then he had two rounds of chemo to try and shrink the rest of the tumor that was in his chest. It didn't work, so we pursued another surgery with a doctor in NYC. That surgery went very well and afterward Brady was considered to be done with treatment. All in all, his treatment lasted from January to April of that year. We were a Make a Wish family last year and were blessed with a trip to Disney in February. We had such a great time that we decided to go again this January! We didn't get stay at Grand Floridian like the first time:lovestruc but it was stil an amazing trip:)

Aww, Thanks.

I hope you get to go, you will have so much fun. At least by then most of the Fantasyland updates should be completed!!

I started to read your TR because of the children -- my daughter had four in less than four years, one set of twins in the bunch -- and I thought it would be interesting to see how you managed at WDW. I'm forwarding the link to her. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading everything. Your family is wonderful. I'm so glad the cancer is in the past and you can smile at the future.

Thank you so much for your sweet words. I love your choice of words, "smiling at the future"...that is my goal every day!

One of the traits of the Proverbs 31 woman -- "She smiles at the future." Ever read how much this wonder woman does? Whew -- I always think, "Yeah, she's smiling because she knows her day of rest is coming and someone else will have to do all this stuff!"

What an absolutely beautiful family you have. And what wonderful memories you have made. Thanks for sharing your trip report :)

Just wanted to stop in and say Hi, only on day 1 of your trip report so going back to read the rest now. Have to say your kids are just adorable, you must be very proud :)

Love your trip report! We have little ones and are heading back in October - it is always an adventure to find a potty, haha. Can't wait to hear about HS.
