I'm so happy that you rec'd not 1, but 3 dreams!!!! I"ve been reading and waiting...hoping that you got one sometime during your trip. What a great story about the tinkerbell pin. I know you said winning the dreams was a matter of being in the right place at the right time, but I like to think that what goes around, comes around. That was such a sweet thing you did for the little girl....and then, voila... look what happened. That being said, I think I'm a pretty swell person and sadly no dreams. (well, to us we feel our whole trip counts as a dream)

I Can't stand rude people. I would have been yelling at them too. Not worth staying for the show with crowds like that.

I can't believe you guys got TWO dream FP's AND the Lanyards. I just got done reading it to the kids then they went running to get Tim and I read it to him. SO AWESOME!!! We are so happy for you guys. HOW AMAZING. I hope we see the dream team this trip, after the kids read your report I think they'll be heartbroken if we don't see them. I am loving this report. What a great day you had. Sorry about the poor ending but what a great day.

So sorry for the rocky end of the day, smart of you to leave in my opinion. That reminds me of disneylands 50th birthday when we waited all night in DCA to be some of the first into disneyland that morning (I wanted the pin that was available). At one point everyone started rushing across the street to swarm into the line, not sure why that happend.....
Thought we were going to get trampled! Really freaked me out!. Luckily no one got hurt, all worked out very well!
Can't wait to hear what happens NEXT!!!

I had SO MUCH FUN typing this installment! It was great to relive that day! Thank you all for your wonderful comments and for sharing in our excitement! All day during this DREAM day I kept thinking I CANNOT WAIT to post about this in our TR! You guys ROCK!!!!

Sorry about your experience with Fantasmic. When we were there last summer, we experienced something similar. The people were packed in like sardines waiting to get in the seating area, and then someone screamed that there was a snake. That was just enough to send people over the edge....there was no where to go. It was awful!!! I was extremely glad to get out of there.

That was such an amazing day! When I walk through the parks and see people with dream fastpasses I feel like they are a celebrity. I just want to touch one of those dream fastpasses! I have never seen them handed out but have seen plenty in the parks!
Sorry about Fantasmic. I'm thinking that since MK closed early, AK is always closed it was between Epcot and DHS so you kinda got slammed that night. That happened to me last May. It was our first, (and our only IMO) time seeing the show. It was soooo crowded. We got there about 20 mins before, got decent seats but man did it fill up fast! The people next to me said they had never seen it so full and had been many times. We snuck out about 3minutes before it ended and ran to the busses. It was like out running a tidal wave! Luckily we got to the busses before the mass crowd and got the last few seats and the bus pulled out just before the crowds! It was insane!

When I go in July I have made my Dis BF "PROMISE" that if we win the suite, she will jump on the first plane and be in WDW within hours! LOL!

DAY 7 Chef Mickey's & Downtown Disney

Today was our day to relax! Other then our Chef Mickey's Brunch at 10:25 we had nothing planned until Bryan and I went to our Anniversary dinner tonight at 7:40!

We slept in. Well the boys and Bryan slept in! I woke up about 7:30, which was still a great nights sleep! I took everyones mugs down to the Mara and filled them up and walked around a little bit. I went to one of the Savannah overlooks and it was gorgeous! There were alot of animals out! After about 20 minutes I went upstairs and everyone was awake. We took our time getting ready for brunch and went down to the bus stop! We were either going to take an Epcot or MK bus which ever got their first. Well the line at the bus stop for MK was ENORMOUS! MK had closed early 3 of the last 4 nights so EVERYONE was going there today! So we got on the Epcot bus and then took the monorail from there to the Contemporary! Here are a few pics. of us waiting for the Epcot bus.....

We made it to Chef Mickey's and checked in. We had never been here before and the boys were so excited to see the characters in chef outfits because they LOVE anything to do with cooking! After about 5 minutes we were buzzed! We got our picture taken (sorry for the quality, it is a picture of a picture)...........

We were then taken to our table and given instructions about the characters and the buffet. It was nice to sit and enjoy eating and the characters without trying to rush out into the park!

Now we were waiting for Mickey! Eric had made another picture for him and we were hoping for a better response...

Mickey's reaction was AWESOME and Eric was thrilled!!!

We then watched some of the celebration the characters do here..

We LOVED Chef Mickey's! It was a looooong meal though! We were there a good hour and a half! After brunch we went to the lobby of the Contemporary and went to the bus stop. After our crowded night at downtown Disney the other night, the boys really wanted to go back. We took these pictures outside the Contemporary...

A bus pulled off and we were off! I think all the buses from all the resorts take FOREVER to get to Downtown Disney! We finally got there and took these shots...

Eric found a face painting station and wanted to get his face painted like Darth Maul from Star Wars...

We then shopped around a little and I bought some souveniers for my nieces and nephews and then we headed back out to go back to the AKL!

It was such a nice relaxing day!

I am happy you had such a nice relaxing day. I thought about planning a relax day into our trip but the commando inside me refused. I am so glad that Mickey reacted better to his picture and that the boys had a much better time at Downtown Disney.
