Loved the update and pics from CM. We try to eat there every trip because my kids love it. Glad this Mickey liked the picture eric made for him . DTD is on our list now as it looks fun but we always seem to skip it. Can't wait to hear how you liked Le Cellier, it's my DH's favorite.

I am happy you had such a nice relaxing day. I thought about planning a relax day into our trip but the commando inside me refused. I am so glad that Mickey reacted better to his picture and that the boys had a much better time at Downtown Disney.

We really did LOVE Chef Mickey's, I am glad we could do it on a day we didn't have to rush anywhere.

So glad Mickey enjoyed the picture! That must have made him feel so happy! Chef Mickey's is a fun spot to go. I haven't had breakfast there but dinner was good and you can't help but get in the Disney mood with the characters and napkin waving!

Thanks for the compliment on my avatar, we just did a photo shoot Friday of the kids. Kaylee needed dance pics and Thomas needed Bday pic, today is his Bday. So of course we did some pics of them together. DH was not happy that I spent $170 there . They were too cute to pass up and I'm sure every mom has this problem .

As of now we are not switching, DH is still opposed to it and so is DD. They love WL. I know Thomas and I would love to stay at AKL. I love WL just really wanted to try AKL this year before it gets busier with the DVC. Well see though I still might switch. DH doesn't want to spend all that extra $$$ on Savannah view though. So if a code comes out or we could just stay Poolview. I'll let you know if we switch, we still have 4.5 months so a switch is a great possibility since I like to change my mind alot .

Parents Night Out/LeCellier

So after Downtown Disney, we went back to the AKL. Here is a picture of the walkway from the buses up to the lobby doors..

Here is Zawadi, which is the store. You can access it from outside the hotel or through the lobby...

We then went up to the room and relaxed for a little bit. Then we decided to walk around the resort and the boys played on the playground.

We went to the Mara and split a chiken strips and fries basket. None of us were hungry enough to get our own meal so we shared!

Then it was time for Bryan and I to get ready for our Anniversary dinner out alone! The boys were going to Simba's Cub House right there in the AKL! I had to bathe Eric to wash away the Darth Maul face paint. It came off really easy. At about 6:30 we walked the boys down to Simba's to drop them off. After we filled out some forms and got our beeper, the boys got to choose what they wanted for dinner and dessert! They both chose cheeseburgers, fries ,coke and brownies! Here is a few pics. of the boys at Simba's....

We said goodbye to the boys and we were off! We stopped in the lobby to take a few pictures...

Then we were off to the Epcot bus stop! A bus came after about 5 minutes and we were off! I was so excited about this night and I couldn't wait to try LeCellier! Once we got to Epcot, it was a GORGEOUS evening. There was a slight breeze and there were NO crowds it was perfect! We took a few pictures...

We went into World Showcase and arrived...

We were about 20 mintues early. I went to the podium to check in and had to change our party number from 4 to 2. I was told on the DIS not to call and change the ressie, because they would cancel it out and TRY to get us a new one. We had no trouble and the host was extremely nice and said "HAPPY ANNIVERSARY". Bryan was surprised he knew! I said thank you and then Bryan and I went to take some pictures around Canada!

After 5 minutes we were buzzed and then taken inside. I was immediately impressed with Le Cellier, I loved the dark romantic atmosphere! Our server came over and she was AWESOME! Her name was Sherra and she was so bubbly and sweet and she said I have these annivesary buttons for you and YOU BETTER wear them! So we did!

We ordered some wine and Sherra brought us our bread assortment! I LOVED the pretzel bread!

We got refills on that! Bryan ordered the mushroom filet..

I forget what kind of steak I ordered but it was DELICIOUS!!

For dessert Bryan ordered the maple creme brulee...

I ordered the chocolate mousse....

I thought this was so cute! It was such a wonderful meal our favorite so far! Bryan and I really enjoyed our meal alone! We talked and laughed about our trip and how much Disney makes you feel like a kid and how much joy we get from seeing the kids have so much fun!

We wrapped up our dinner and settled up the bill and then we took a picture of Sherra our waitress...

She was awesome! Then we went out into the beautiful night and Illuminations had already started so we just stood back and enjoyed the view from where we were! Then we walked out through the International Gateway and took a cab from the Beach Club back to AKL. We weren't ready to pick the boys up yet so we went and had a drink at Victoria Falls! At around 10:25 we went to pick up the boys! They had a BLAST and were so upset that they had to leave! We paid for our stay, returned the beeper and went upstairs to get ready for tomorrow! I would highly reccomend some alone time! It was wonderful! We will definitely be doing it again! Bryan and I still talk about how great it was!

Great updat and I love all your pics too. Glad the boys enjoyed the kids club and you both liked Le Cellier. When we went I ordered the Chocolate Moose too, so cute. The Canada and flower and garden pics are gorgeous. We have never used a kids club but maybe we might have to think about maybe trying that in the future since Thomas is 4 now.

It sounds like you had a wonderful time on your own and so did the boys. You and your husband are a very good looking couple, all gussied up for a night on the town. Did you use a timer on the camera for the pics of the two of you or did someone take them for you?

MMmmmmm! Le Cellier!!! One of our "must go to" restaurants! I loved the food pics! Makes me hungry....can't wait for our trip! I'm so glad you were able to have some alone time and a wonderful dinner. Wow! Your TR has made me so "home-sick" for AKL! We may have to run over for a visit in August!
