Our 2nd Shot at the Dream Team -TONS OF PICS. 10/28 New PTR LINK

It weasn't on your list, so I'm mentioning it - even though you probably already know.... of course, I have had 2 teens forget their I-Pods on 2 separate trips (and I laughed and laughed... :lmao: )

BUT you didn't list the I-Pod charger.

I actually forgot MY ipod on our trip, even after all my stinkin' lists! But, after having to go back for the Game Boys, I wasn't about to go back for my ipod. I ended up using Sully's and listening to his stuff when I had to do my homework and needed some background noise.

:rotfl2: :rotfl: If that happened to me I would be listening to the Spongebob Squarepants Movie soundtrack or High School Musical 1&2 soundtracks:sad2: Watch, now I'll remember the I-pod but forget something important like my camera or something!:rotfl:

Yup. I listened to HSM 1 & 2 as well as other Disney stuff, but I did put some of MY songs on his ipod that he liked so I just kept repeating those over and over ;)

You WILL NOT forget your camera!!!!!! :scared1: Go pack it up RIGHT NOW!

Here are the pictures of the 2 t-shirts I bought for myself..........

Aren't they cute?:goodvibes

I also purchased this Mickey bag. I figured I'll use it as my carry on for the flight and I'll bring it down to the pool with our "stuff". It is one of those eco-friendly bags and was $2.50 at the Disney Store!:woohoo:

On to the Budget! These are the Out of Pocket Expenses I came up with...

1.Stroller Rental ( no flames here, I know Matthew is 8 and Eric is 6 but it just makes the day so much better when the boys have a place to relax if they get tired and it allows us to stretch out the day if need be!:thumbsup2 )
cost $ 120

2.Character Breakfast at Tusker House... Bryan and I have to pay OOP for our meals because when we do our Anniv. dinner at Le Cellier that will leave the kids with 1 extra Table Service credit each so instead of wasting the credit we will just pay OOP for our meals.
Cost $50 /with tip

3. Tips for DDP Cost approx. $160

4. Simba's Clubhouse Matthew and Eric will be here during our Anniv. dinner.
Cost approx. $88 for 4 hours

5. Souvineirs Matthew and Eric will use there own Disney dollars and other money. approx. $75 each
Bryan just wants drinks by the Uzima pool at AKL:rotfl:
Cost: unknown:confused3
Me, I would like to pick a pearl in Japan at the World Showcase in Epcot
and I too would like to partake in drinks at Uzima pool at AKL:rotfl2:

6. Mousekeeping approx. $55

Total OOP Expenses$473 plus the pool bar expenses:rolleyes1

Coming soon updated Itinerary and pics. of the boys jibbitz!:)

Hi Diane,
I'm all caught up with your pre trip now. Your plans look great! My DH loves LeCellier, what a great place to celebrate your Anniversary. I love the shirts and Mickey bag you bought too. Also as far as the stroller rental no one can flame you on your trippie. I don't know why people care if bigger kids ride in the stroller. My DD7 will ride with DS3 when she gets tired. I say whatever works for you. The drink by the Uzima pool sound great about now. Have you seen the pool there? Just beautiful.

You are so organized, will you come pack for me. I love your Countdown Calender, mine is sort of like it but not near as neat because kids did mine :rolleyes1. I will post a picture later.

I heart your t-shirts! Especially the Chip & Dale one, it's adorable.

Look at you, making out a budget and everything! It's certainly better than my plan which was...well, nothing except take a bunch of money out of the bank and make sure to save enough to get the car out of the airport parking lot when we returned. :rotfl:

Love the shirts Diane :) I love that you're going to pick a pearl in Japan, too. Can't wait to see what you get.

Thanks so much! You see I should have let the kids help with a countdown calendar once we told them but I wanted to use it as part of the reveal! You know as far as the stroller rental thing I agree no one should care what others do, but I have read many threads on here where people just want their kids to suck it up and walk:sad2: YES, I will come pack for you if that means I can come too!:rotfl: Cannot wait for the gorgeous Uzima pool!:woohoo: Have a great trip!;)

Thanks Amy! The budget crunching is sooo necessary as you know the cost of the trip has SKYROCKETED over the weeks!:rotfl2: Even though it is paid off I would like to keep our spending "within reasonable limits":thumbsup2
Diane

I love the shirts!

Thanks so much Mindy! Welcome back. I saw that you had to reschedule your trip, I hope it works out for you and that you have a great time!:goodvibes

Thanks Carissa! I should have given you credit for the pearl picking, as I first heard of it when I read your TR. So THANKS!:thumbsup2 I hope you find Josie:sad2:

Hi Diane.

I must have missed the list great.

It looks great!!

The only thing I was thinking....I know you have your son's asthma meds listed...does he have a nebulizer?

My DS has one and it was a godsend on our trip with his allergies

Other than that, looks awesome!!!

Cute shirts!!!

Did ya get them at walmart? Walmart always have such a nice selection of disney items at reasonable prices:thumbsup2

That bag is super cute:cutie:

Out of pocket expenses does not look bad at all:)

Thanks Kelly! We actually have an albuterol rescue inhaler for him instead of the nebulizer. As he gets older we need the neb. less and less often:worship:

Hey Everyone! I just had to come on here and tell a little story!

I had my cousin's baby shower yesterday and it was nice. My Aunt asked me about our Disney trip and I told her how excited I was to surprise the boys and that the end of April can't get here fast enough. So this morning Bryan the boys and I are out getting baseball cleats for Matthew well, while I'm gone my Aunt call and leaves this message............"Hi Diane, I just wanted to call and say thank you for coming yesterday, I hope you had a nice time and if I don't talk to you...........................

HAVE FUN IN DISNEY WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:scared1:    :headache:  :scared1: :headache: :scared1:

Do you get the picture! So Matthew being the smart cookie he is says with a big grin on his face "What did she say?" So Bryan being the quick thinker says, "Oh, she said she hopes we have fun for your birthday because she's going to Disney World":confused3 Thank god Matthew just made like a "HUH" expression and walked away!

I am so MAD! All that planning and lying (remember my conversation with Matthew) and sneaking around:sad1: I hope the kids are still surprised!

OK rant over!

Oh man Diane...

that stinks...I hope the boys are still surprised, too.

Did both boys hear the message or just one? Was it the younger or older one?

Hopefully if the older one does figure it out, he keeps it a secret for the younger one:hug:

Thanks Kelly!:goodvibes Only Matthew heard the message and he is my older one! So far so good, he hasn't mentioned it again!:thumbsup2
