I don't know anything about laptop locks, BUT I do know a laptop WILL NOT fit in the safe at AKL!!!

I'll check and see if I took a picture of one, but it was TINY!!!

Thanks for the pictures! I guess we will buy a laptop lock I love the idea of being able to dump the pics. onto the laptop each night in case god forbid we lose the camera or it breaks!

Hi there! Just found your thread! We had trouble finding cheaper airfare too. We were supposed to travel 4/16 - 4/25 but the airfare was ridonkulous (about $400 per person each way!!) So we changed our stay to 4/15 - 4/28 and even though we had to pay for 4 extra nights, with the difference in airfare we still saved quite a chunk of dinero!

WE PAYED OFF OUR TRIP IN FULL TODAY!!!!!!!! It is the best feeling ever!


In addition to that excitement I found the boys Mickey Crocs which they have been begging for at shoestation.com for only $23 each and free shipping!! That was the best price I've seen around so I was thrilled! Of course I will post pictures when they come!

I can't wait to make the countdown calendar and put the Easter baskets together to show you all!

I read some of your posts in this thread and just had to comment! We will be going to Disney World for the first time! We will be going almost around the same time, 4/22 - 4/30. And we are also celebrating our wedding anniversary (#1!). It looks like our last few nights are also similar. Dinner at Coral Reef, and then the last night, dinner at Ohana, and then leave on the 30th.

Hi everyone! Sorry I have been MIA but it has been an insane few days!! We painted our bathroom over the weekend and replaced some fixtures. The boys had a sleepover on Sat. night They were up till midnight and Sunday was "family" day so we were out all day. I spent today trying to catch up I have started the countdown calendar and have taken a picture of the boys crocs so hopefully tomorrow I can post those The boys have there final hockey game and party tonight I feel soooo out of touch with the boards........kind of going through withdrawl

I've not read all your PTR yet, but saw the link in Becca's and noticed we'd be going at the same time!

Funny thing : we'll be staying at POFQ! We, too, would've liked to stay at AKL, but that would definitely make us go off budget. I didn't read yet what made you change minds, but I know we could've made in by renting DVC points, but in that case, it's a lot of trouble if you can't go at the last minute, and since I'm ill, we didn't want to take that risk. Plus, we decided to put that money in activities like the Backstage magic tour! I'm still looking forward to go visit AKL and take a peek at the animals then! Far from being able to wake up each morning to the possibility of a giraffe eating near your window and other wild animals running free while you take your breakfast on a balcony (I would've wanted a Savanah view or no AKL at all!).

So... maybe we'll meet! ...even though you're Deluxe now!
(I should be sporting a lime croc named Faolan! Oh, yeah, and I'll be in a tartan blue wheelchair, small detail...)

(aren't you starting those bouts of panick attacks now it's in less than 2 months?!)

WOW! Hi and WELCOME Annie! thanks for finding us and posting! We decided to upgrade to AKL because this year is our 10th anniv. and we have always wanted to stay there! We crunched the numbers and realized we could swing it and are thrilled! We booked the AKL so late that only standard view was available BUT tomorrow is the 45 day mark so I will have our AAA agent check to see if there were any cancellations for an upgraded view Yes, I am starting to get a little panicked...especially because the trip is a surprise for the boys, it has been very hard to keep things a secret

WOW! What a crazy couple of days Anyway, I'm back and guess what!!

I ordered myself a pair too. The color is like a creme/grayish color.....

Here is a t-shirt I made for Eric, thanks to Michelle over on the Creative Dis thread!...........He is going to be thrilled!

You can't beat such cute shirts that cost a total of $3 per shirt!


Now our countdown calendar! I really wanted to be super creative and have seen many on the DIS but well...when they were handing out the creative genes, I guess I wasn't in line that day Here is the result

I figured we can just take the days off as I used sticky tack on the backs of the Mickey Heads.

I also found this cute mini-poster on the Creative Dis thread by a poster named Natalie. I thought I would roll it like a scroll and put it in the boys baskets. What do you think?

And I love the countdown calendar. I can't believe you say you're not creative. Question: How are you hiding THAT from the kids?

Did you individually cut every mickey head off the backer (assuming those are liberated from Home Depot). I have tried peeling them off - to no avail. I really don't want to do the tedious job of cutting them each out. Maybe I'll do a 1-day countdown calendar to avoid that! I crack myself up - sorry.
