Thanks Mindy! You know the more I read about the Grad Nights the less worried I am about them. The students are bussed in and are only allowed to go to the Magic Kingdom. So other than the MK closing early, hopefully that will be the only inconvenience to all the other guests I think it really will be OK

I just found your pretrip report tonightl Really enjoying it. We are going almost the same time as you and my DH just surprised me with a Valentine's upgrade to AKL. We were originally supposed to go to POR Apr 20-29...Very similar to your details. I'm so excited to try AKL this time.

OK so..... I went back and looked at our itinerary (which I never posted) and made some changes First we decided to try some EMH this trip. With that we cancelled our Fantasmic dinner package, instead we will head to DHS after dinner one night and see the 2nd showing of Fantasmic. This way we can enjoy the rides and have less of a crowd for the 2nd showing So here is our itinerary.................(for now)



Day 1 -Arrive, look around resort & get a good night sleep!

Day 2 -Epcot am
Dinner Marrakesh
Illuminations or back to AKL

Day 3-Disney Hollywood Studios am
Dinner Kona Cafe
Magic Kingdom pm *WISHES*

Day 4 -Magic Kingdom am
Dinner Tutto Italia
Epcot pm

Day 5-Epcot am
Dinner Boma
Night off/Downtown Disney

Day 6-Breakfast Tusker House
Animal Kingdom am *JAMMIN JUNGLE PARADE*
Dinner Yak & Yeti
Swim at AKL

Day 7-Breakfast Crystal Palace
Magic Kingdom am *DREAM COME TRUE PARADE*
Midday break @ AKL

So what do you think? I tried very hard to give each park it's fair due. We LOVE Epcot so we will be there at night quite often BUT I told Bryan I would try and be a little flexible on this trip

My only comment is this - have you checked the crowd calendars for Day 7? MK is not recommended by two different sources that I check daily. Since these are subscriptions and I am "on my honor" not to share info, I can't say just why. I would just recommend that if you have any subscriptions or other ways to check crowd calendars, maybe do that for April 27th.

...that is, unless I have your days and dates mixed up...

Otherwise, all of your touring looks like it's on good days and nights according to my "sources"

Thanks Kelly, that was my goal. Especially because we have upgraded to the AKL we really want to try and "relax" some at the resort! They also have alot for the kids to do too!

Hi! I usually read a lot of finished reports, but then I don't have an opportunity to post! So, I looked for a PTR to read, and found yours! Congrats on deciding to upgrade to the AKL, and I hope you really like it there! We'll be at POFQ in June, but we needed two rooms so.. No deluxe for us! Anyways, I really like your trip report and I think you've got some great dining things planned. I guess I'll just have to keep checking in, because you've got me hooked on your report
