Our 2nd Shot at the Dream Team -TONS OF PICS. 10/28 New PTR LINK

Great update! I want to try Kona...... I doubt this trip though. Can't wait to see more AK pictures. How nice to be able to meet up with friends for an evening. Excited for more

Wow! Great chapter and again, wonderful pictures. You all look so refreashed after swimming. That was definately a smart move! Glad to hear that Kona was so good. We have a ressie for Ohana but maybe we will try to trade one night for Kona also!
Thanks! Looking forward to more!

Great update. My kids love that kiddie cone at Kona. The Lapu Lapu looks yummy too. Great now I'm missing the Poly :sad2: . Sounds like you had a great night! I would have been worried sick about my small child on SM too. I took Kaylee on it in October and she didn't like it and somehow she banged her head and her ears was very red. It's a rough ride. Glad Eric liked it though. Waiting for more popcorn:: .

Fun update! One question - what is the blue at the base of the kiddie cone at Kona? The desserts look great! I want a lapu lapu!! How was it?

I MISS the Poly and I've never stayed there:sad2: Poor Kaylee, I know SM can be very rough!:goodvibes

Thanks Susan! That blue stuff is cotton candy and the Lapu Lapu was awesome! It wasn't too strong but had just enough of a punch!:goodvibes

Can't wait to read the rest of your report. I can't believe your boys, going on all of those rides, My kids are not thrill ride kids (which I guess is kind of good, seeing how, i'm not either,) you couldn't pay me to go on TOT. Although,I wish I could bring myself to try it.:confused3

Subscribing!

I'm totally addicted to your report!!

Now I'm off to take a nap before work (I work nights). Good thing you didn't have another update, or I'd be w/o a nap!

Another great update!!!:thumbsup2

Love your ds' ear to ear grin after riding Space Mountain:goodvibes

That cone at Kona, with cotton candy around it, mmmmm

Between lapu and ice cream cone, you must have been so wired, just like the kids:lmao:

What did the boys have at Kona? My Ds is super picky

Hope you got a do over for Wishes:wizard:

First off a giant sorry because I have been so very evil in that I have been reading, just not commenting. :guilty: Yeah I know. I am evil. Honestly I love your TR so far, and leaving Wishes early :scared1: I hope you got to see them again. I couldn't imagine leaving in the middle of them. But then again I love  fireworks. They make me feel like I am 6 years old again :cloud9:

Anyway I promise to be better about commenting. Can't wait to read more.

Thanks Kelly! I think the boys had cheeseburgers. I'm not 100% though.:goodvibes

DAY 3 Magic Kingdom Morning!!

The wake up call comes again at 7am and this time I let Eric get it! He thought Mickey should just let Stitch run around the Magic Kingdom so we could find him!:rotfl2:

Bryan ran down to Mara and grabbed breakfast and coffee and once again we were out the door by 7:55! We went down to the bus stop. Here are my boys waiting for the bus!

IMG_2630.jpg

Don't they look cute all matchy matchy!:goodvibes

We waited about 10 minutes for the bus today, still not too bad and once again it was only us and 1 other family waiting. We arrive at the MK at about 8:30 and go to the bag check and wait by the entrance. The AKL bus stop is soooo close to all the park exits, it was GREAT!!!

Here are pics. of an empty MK!

Nice huh! Well after about waiting for 10 minutes, Matthew just started to lose it! Out of nowhere he starts crying saying "why do we have to wait, I hate waiting" he looks at me and says "why do we have to get here sooooo early!" I just stood there frozen because I was floored that he was acting this way, because that is not his personality AT ALL, he is usually so calm and reserved and just a go with the flow kind of kid:confused3 So thank goodness Bryan picks him up and shows him all the people waiting behind us and asks him if he would rather be where we are(which is against the ropes or back there? He finally got it together and realized we were in a better place. I told Bryan no matter what we have to sleep in a little later tomorrow!

Our game plan was for Bryan to run and fastpass Space Mountain and meet us at Buzz! The park finally opens and Bryan rushes off ahead to the Tomorrowland rope drop!

At 9:00 on th enose the rope drops and we head to park the stroller. We go to the entrance to Buzz and Bryan meets us about 2 minutes later! We go on Buzz and Bryan outscores us all!

Another bootleg picture.........

IMG_2636.jpg

After Buzz I wanted to head to Fantasyland.... BUT we veered AWAY FROM THE PLAN:sad2: Bryan told me I needed to relax and just go with the flow, excuse me but who is the one that agonized over the plans and planned every detail of this trip? That's right ME, go with the flow, nope sorry NOT A GOOD IDEA! (more on that later) So we head to the Indy Speedway:rolleyes1

IMG_2638.jpg

Did I mention that I think this is the WORST ride in all of Disney World! I thought since the boys rode it last night it would be out of their systems but NOPE! Of course I was punished by getting the slowest, break downiest car EVER! A CM had to rescue us 3 TIMES!:scared1: YEAH! THAT WAS FUN:mad: OK I'm over it now! I then tell the master plan ruiner he chooses what's next and he says Haunted Mansion......nothing like running from one side of the park to the other:rolleyes1 So we head over to HM..... the wait wasn't too bad and we all LOVED the new enhancements after last years refurb!! It was GREAT! We then fastpassed Splash Mountain and stood on line to ride Big Thunder Mountain. Guess what............. the Dream Team stopped handing out Dream Fastpasses just as we exited the ride!:rolleyes1 Good Lord will we ever MEET them? (Thanks Bry, for deviating from the plan) We then headed over to Pirates of the Caribbean, we all LOVE this ride! We then headed back to Tomorrowland to use our SM fastpasses! They didn't even check Eric's height..what's up with that? I was starving after this so we headed over to Pinnochio Village Haus and had an awesome lunch! We had never eaten here before!
After lunch we went to Mickey's Philharmagic! I absolutely LOVE this show, I think it is Disney at it's best!

Our silly boys...

IMG_2643.jpg

We then headed over to Splash Mountain to use our fastpasses. They should call this Soaked Mountain, they have dialed up the soaking wet factor BIG TIME!

Not a happy group!

IMG_2645.jpg

IMG_2644.jpg

We then needed to walk around and dry off, so we went back over and fastpassed SM again! Then rode on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority! We love this too! We then fastpassed Buzz and went to Monsters Inc. It wasn't as fun this time because we weren't part of the show like last night! Again this is something I thought we could have skipped! Oh Well! Then we walked to Aloha Isle and got these beauties!

IMG_2655.jpg

Matthew had a Mickey head and Eric had an Itzakadoozie! YUM!

We then went around and took these pics.

I started not to feel great at this point, I don't know if it was the heat or what but I felt a little lightheaded. Bryan and the boys rode BTMRR again and I said I would meet them by the first aid station near Main St. I went in there and asked for some tylenol because of course this is the day I forgot to put it in my bag! I freshened up and cooled off and met up the rest of my fam and we walked down Main St. and out of the MK.

coming up a wonderful detour on our way to Epcot!

I hope we find it as easy to get up & going as early as you guys.
Love the MK morning...your trip makes me so excited for ours. Love the matching tshirts too!!

Loved the update :thumbsup2 . I guess sometimes the waiting just get to kids. Thomas had a rough time with the waits this trip too a few times. The boys look cute in thier matching shirts. Are you wearing the same shirt too? In our Epcot pics DH doesn't match the rest of our family. Your pics are great! Sorry you got talked into devating from your plan ;) but sounds like you had fun anyway. :sad2: ewww Indy Speedway, I feel your pain.
I have good news to share, upgraded to WL  again. But still wondering if we should try AKL  , but then I want to spend even more $$ for a Savannah View.

Oh, my gosh, where do I start? Kona looks great--we haven't tried it yet but it's on my list for a future trip! Love the look of that Lapu Lapu!

I'm so glad that all was well with Space Mountain--Mommy worrying is pretty much a requirement for all of our children's new adventures. ;)

The early morning meltdown made me smile (probably because I wasn't there and it wasn't my child!)--mainly because dd still complains about me getting everywhere "insanely early." :rotfl2: Luckily, I can now let her sleep in and still indulge my earliness obsession.

I hope you got to feeling better after the Tylenol!

I share your pain about deviating from "The Plan"! We are leaving in 61 days.. I have each day, meal, snack, park etc.. planned as well as the route we are to take on our way through each park. DD (14) has announced to me, (as only a teenage girl can.. ) That she really does not want to "DO A PLAN" she wants to "hang out" and take things as they come! HA!!! Nice try kido.. that's why you are the child and I'm the MOM~! You can take things as they come at the Jersey Shore... we do Disney MY WAY! :)

I just read your report so far---Great Job. I know what you mean about the girl/princess thing. I feel like there needs to be more geared to the boys. I have one son who is our only. I love the pictures of AKL. We are going in November and staying at the CR. I had booked AKL for spring 2009 but we are thinking of going Thanksgiving each year so I may move it to then. Can't wait to see if you get a dream!!!
