Our 13 Mos. Old Twins, Easter Wk & A Night in the Castle Magical Trip LASTUPDATE 6/5

Sounds like you guys had a great trip. What a treat...staying in Cinderella's Castle for the night. It's 11 days and counting for us and I hope I don't ruin our trip by always looking for the *Dream Makers*. I would absolutely love to spend a night in the castle. I can't wait for your pics.

ok-I just read the whole thing and thought FOR SURE I would get to the part about the castle!! I hope everything is ok on your end!! WE are all waiting and need to see your pics and read your report!!
Also-I love your little boys hair! how sweet!!

4 I wish I could have gone more when my children were younger. But now they are grown and I look forward to taking my grandchildren.

Catpirate:

I totally agree with you. I was a stay at home mom to 4, and I went to work when my youngest went to Kindergarden. Even then our income wasn't enough to go to WDW, but I plan on spoiling my grandchildren and taking their parents if they want to go too. Not a rant here, my but in-laws promised my kids all the time that they would take them to WDW and they didn't. They substituted vhs tapes with the songs on them of Disney.

I do have 2 small children and make a median amount of income but consider going to WDW a bill and take $50.00 every two weeks and this pays for our vaction once a year to disney. For me and my 2 girls. It works well and we get our Disney fix. We will give up a movie or out to dinner for a vacation!

I know now, that I should have set money aside for a vacation. I wish these boards existed 20 years ago. Time goes so fast when you have children-you realize what you should have done, that is why I am waiting for my grandma days.

Subscribing because I spent 15 minutes skimming thru yesterday to read about what happened and no details on the castle stay. Hmmmm....I hope all is okay.

I have 3.5 yo triplets, BTW, so another triplet mommy is here!!!

I have also read through and have been waiting patiently. Hopefully nothing is wrong. But if it's like my house (I have 4 kids), we've had spring/summer colds go through 3 of the kids so far;) . Today is the first day I've had everyone going to school this week.

I hope the original poster is okay. I hope the babies aren't sick or anything. I can't wait to see the pics. We leave in 7 days.....hallelujah and hope we win something. My husband had the audacity to ask if we were to win the stay in Cinderella's castle on our last day if we had to stay an extra day! He loves Disney, he just hates paying to stay on-property. We go to DLR every year and stay at hotels on points, so we don't spend out of pocket for that. I insist when we go to WDW we stay on property. My dream hotel is the Poly. Something to look forward to, I guess.

Wow, I wish 50.00 every two weeks would cover my trip to Disney!!! That might just cover the airfare from NY to FL :goodvibes I think I need to move closer to the mouse :woohoo:

$50 every two weeks is only $1300 a year. Would hardly cover airfare anymore.

I certainly will, with the help of my husband. I just want our trip to go well. I'm recovering from my 2nd knee surgery since January and just started walking this week. I'm using one crutch or my cane depending on the amount of walking I'm doing, but I'm trying. I'll be using a chair for sure down there, I just hope I don't get the evil eye from people. Oh, well. I won't know any of them and I'll never see them again, right.;)
