First off, I apologize with all of my heart that I have been gone for so long and of all posts I know I left you hanging when we were just about to be awarded the night of our lives. Anyway, the reason why I vanished is my friend's Dh was killed on his motorcycle...absolutely shocking news as you can imagine. I have not been on the computer since the day I last posted and am determined to complete an update tonight. I have not read any of the posts since my last update and I promise to catch up very soon.
Okay, so here comes the "Dream Team" and I am filled with excitement, but play dumb to who they are! As they approach, they ask the lady in front of me if she was ME! Then, they turn to me and say that I need to follow them to the front security office because my son had done something horrible on the Backlot Tour and security wanted to talk to him!!!

Well, I knew better

Besides, my Ds and Dh had smiles on their faces. So, during the LONG walk to the front with everyone staring at us as we walk by with the Disney people with the vests on surrounding us, my mind is going 100 miles an hour trying to figure out if what we had won.
Does my Dh and Ds already know?? I was so happy and nervous at the same time. We approach the Guest Services building which I had never even paid much attention to and they guide us into an office. There were a couple more CM's waiting in the office. We sit down and they tell me that my son was indeed NOT in trouble and asked if I had heard of the Year of a Million Dreams which I responded YES!! Then they place a portable DVD in front of me and told me to watch and see what we had won. At this point since they are directing the questions and statements to me, I figured that Dh and Ds already knew. It starts to play and it exclaims, "Congratulations, you have won a Night in Cinderella's Suite in the Castle!!" I think I started screaming

To be honest, the next few moments are a blur! I turned to Dh and DS and asked if they realized what this meant.....out of all the thousands and thousands of people at all of the WDW parks WE happened to be at the right place at the right time!!! WE WERE GOING TO GET TO SPEND THE NIGHT IN THE CASTLE!!! They were both very happy and especially happy for me. We had to sign a ton of paperwork. I was shaking the whole time. In the meantime, the CM's were wonderful with the kids! One was doing activities with Ds7 while the others were blowing bubbles for the babies and offering to hold them. They even put on Disney cartoons. They were completely prepared for a family.
The CMs told us that everyday for the Cinderella's Suite Winner the location and time is predetermined. So, today it was 12:00pm, BackLot Tour, whatever car they were sitting in on the tram, last seat of that car.
So, we were to be picked up with our luggage for the night in the lobby of our resort, SOG, at 4pm. They then asked our Ds if there was any ride at MGM that he hadn't ridden that day that he would like to ride. He responded the Great Movie Ride and Narnia. So, they told us that one of them would escort us to those rides and we would not have to wait in line!! NICE!! That was quite cool

We high tailed back to our vehicle when we were done and zipped back to the SOG. We had one hour to throw everything together that we needed. I started to panic that I would forget something that we needed for the twins. It's not like we could run to the store in the middle of the night. We head down to the lobby on the elevator and I scream, "MILK!!" My Dh say's "Huh?" I said "Milk!" "How are we going to get milk for the night feeding and the early morning feeding?" He tells me not to worry just focus on what an incredible evening we were going to have. Then, my mind starts to wander: There are going to be beautiful things in Cinderella's Suite...beautiful and BREAKABLE

We enter the lobby and I asked Dh how the CM picking us up knew who we were? What was the CM going to be picking us up in? Car, SUV, tram, golf cart? If it was a regular vehicle, then we would have to go get the car seats for the babies. Of course, he knew none of the answers to my questions and I think I was starting to get on his nerves

He gave me the look...the STOP WORRYING look.
We spot a brand new GMC SUV pull up with a "Cinderella's Suite Guests" sign on the side. The CM walked into the lobby and came right up to us...I guess the twin babies gave us away

He introduced himself as Daniel and our VIP escort for the evening. We walk to the SUV and there were two car seats installed in the backseat

I should have known Disney thinks of everything
Here's Daniel:
So, we are on our way to the castle
You can tell by my Dh's face he doesn't know quite what to expect.
Daniel takes us into this back parking lot that special Cm's use. He even had to show identification to access the lot. We pull up to another CM waiting for us with a double stroller!!! Daniel drops us off and tells us not to worry about our luggage because it would be taken care of. The CM walks us down mainstreet right to the castle. We go through a door which leads us into a small, but luxurious office where we met yet another CM waiting for us, Jason. He said he was going to be available to us until morning if we needed anything while in the suite......aahhhh.....milk not a problem anymore. He takes us up to the suite in an elevator and gives us a tour of the suite. BREATHTAKING! Oh, yes....our luggage....already nestled into the wardrobe cabinet. Here are a few pics:
2 queen size beds that were exquisite
Across the suite there was a separate area where Ds slept. This area could be closed off with draperies which Ds took full advantage of.
This is a closer pic of Ds part of the suite. The sofa turned into an awesome bed. He also had his own plasma TV on the wall and the remote to it was the size of a small computer.
This is Ds area again. See the mirror on the wall? That is the TV.
Well, there are lots more pics of the suite and lots more to tell about our magical evening. I've got to get to bed now, but will check back tomorrow. Again, sorry for the delay and I can't wait to read the posts that I have missed.
