Our 10 seconds of fame.

My daughter just noticed that our picture is in the souvenier book "Walt Disney World". I can't see when it was published but it is a 208 page, hard cover book about 9"x14" with a purple cover. We are on page 86 on the Wonders of Life page.

The same picture, but smaller is in the souvienier book "Walt Disney World, 20 Magical Years. Again, I can't find when it was published. It is a 168 page book with a cream colour cover. We are on page 82, again on the Wonders of Life page. I think it's kinda neat.

My husband and I also have our 10 seconds of fame. We have a quote in the unofficial guide about Typhoon Lagoon Vs. Blizzard Beach. It's been in there 10 years! So I guess we have 10 YEARS of fame! We also used to have one about renting a car but we got replaced! I check every year to see if we're still there! A picture in a book is MUCH COOLER!

Adding this smiley fo no other reason than my DS(6) thinks it's cool!

"Walt Disney World, 20 Magical Years."--Funny, I brought this book out just last night to show DD how the monorail goes through the Contemporary! I have it open to pg 82 now. Are you in the picture of the front of Wonders or one of the Body Wars pics? What are you wearing in the picture? When was the picture taken? Maybe I can get .25 seconds of fame bc. I can say "I 'know' that person from the DISboards"

BTW- I LOVE looking at this book before one of our trips. The pictures in it are awesome! I think I bought this on either our 1992 or 1994 trip.

Nothing as cool as that. But, on my last trip. I was picked to perform in the Lion King show at the AK. After the show I kept having people come up to me talking to me about the show. It was bizarre.

In the picture, we are in the front row. They always seat us there because of my daughter's wheelchair. I have short hair. My daughter, on my right, has long hair. She is wearing a blue and white striped shirt. I forget what I'm wearing, but my daughter still has the shirt. The picture was taken a long time ago, I'm sure. We are watching Body Wars.
