Morning DIS friends. Let me start by saying I know you aren't doctors. I'm just throwing this out there to see if anyone has dealt with this before.
Four weeks ago I was out shopping with my daughter and grandbabies. I bent down to pick up my one year old grandson when I heard this loud pop in my knee. Right after it started to hurt, but nothing awful, and I was able to bear weight on it.
Here we are today. Still can bear weight on it just fine however in a sitting position it really hurts to lift my right leg. I can't bend down on it and if I do I need to pull myself up. The more I'm on it during the day it starts to ache up my leg as well and I can find myself limping at times. This pain/feeling is in the back of my knee. Almost feels like a rubber band is twisted really tight (if that makes any sense). My knee doesn't slip at all and the bones feel just fine.
I'm in the mindset that time will heal. Being a new year and all I dread to take on medical expense if not necessary. Appreciate anyone's experience with an acute knee injury.
Have a great day!
