I've had this stove for about 11+ years, and this is the first time someone was burned.
I was getting ready to hard boil eggs for the kids to dye tomorrow. I decided to put in a couple more eggs and add a little more water. I forgot that I already turned on the burner, and I was using my large pot (no handle). When I went to put the pot with the eggs and water back on the burner, my pinky finger touched the burner.
I ran my finger under cold water right away and I've been icing it, but there's a small blister and when I take it off of the ice it hurts. : ( I hope it feels better soon. Other than ice and cold water, I don't think there's much I can do for it.
Be careful around the burners if you have an electric stove.
