Hi, I was wondering what your weather is like. I sent my DS off yesterday with cadets. I questioned the sanity of putting him on a bus but assumed like the rest that the bus would drive out of the weather. He called this morning to say they stayed in Trenton overnight and arrived this morning. Being a boy of few words he said it was snowy when I asked.

When he said "snowy", he was right!! LOL It's really coming down hard here now.

We are up to our armpits in the stuff. It is supposed to stop overnight. By Monday morning you'll never even know it happened, except for the snowbanks of course. I say lets get some more and beat the all time record! I'm sure he'll have a great week snow or no snow.

OT - cool to see some Ottawa DISers, I didn't know there were any. Yes, I know I need to change my tag...I moved here in July!

And if you can believe it, its still snowing! I haven't seen snow like this since growing up in western NF.

It's been quite the weekend in the Ottawa region!
DH is away in Boston once again, and missed all the good stuff (like shoveling)...

Snow.. snow.. and more snow.. they say we have just under 50 cms from fri/sat. I have snow halfway up my picture window. Spring should get here.. by June!

We had tons of snow too. We are in Niagara. I just can't help think of these poor kids stuck in an armoury in Ottawa and not able to do the scheduled events. I suppose being a group of teens away from home they are still having a good time

Now that I see that there are a lot more Diser's here in Ottawa....is anyone interested in a Dis meet in the spring? I mean when the snow is down to at least 2 feet, sometime in June maybe?
