Other types of WDW tickets with miles

Since my parents and I have 1-2 days left on very old non-expiring park hopper tickets, we only need buy DD10 the same ticket.

Has anyone here had the Onyx Concierge get them these types of tickets with miles? How long did the request take to complete, if yes.

I looked up my old email from airmiles and unfortunately I couldn't find it.
Yes as an Onyx airmiler you can put in a request for a Personal Shopper.
They responded within a few days (email) and will ask you a couple of questions
What Parks are you looking at going to (this is due to MK being more costly).
What date you are looking at going. (Peak,Regular,Value).
How many days you want.
10 Yrs will be adult ticket I think.

I KNOW someone used the service to get tickets not that long ago -- if you change the title of this thread to add the words ONYX Personal Shopper -- or Concierge service whoever it was might respond I seem to recall it worked out to close to the cost of buying them yourself -- using the $10 = 95 AM adding on exchange and a bit of a surcharge for the service. I don't remember the timeline though

Okay, I thought I read on here someone bought tickets...something like 3 days? It was an odd number from the usual offerings.

I still have loads of time (too much time IMO), but I was just curious of the process.

We tried about 5-6 yrs ago and I just remember allot of back and forth. I think they finally gave us a price for a 1 day ticket and it was a ridiculous price, maybe even more than what it was worth.

Maybe things are different now and a 2 or 3 day might be a better deal, definitely doesn't hurt to ask.

I did ask them about Disney GIFT CARDS and they said that was not possible. Of course I can't remember why but just remember thinking how hard can it be since the Disney Stores here sell them. Even if I had to pay the exchange when using them, it would have been a nice option.

So in the end, being an Onyx member was absolutely useless to us.

Yea, I will probably just buy a hopper ticket outright and save my miles. It's just one ticket, so not a huge expense.
