We are headed to Disney Jan 2-6 and staying in FW, however, we want to extend the trip a little longer in Orlando. Since FW is totally booked, we need to stay at another campground in the area from Dec 30-Jan 2. I did call Turkey Lake after reading positive comments, but they are also booked, since it is Holidays ... do you have any suggestions on a safe, nice campground for our family? We have a 32' travel trailer.

Thanks for your tips!

A few years ago, we stayed at one called Tropical Palms Resort. At the time, we stayed in one of their rental cottages, which were pretty cute. And it was right by a 7-Eleven...since there aren't any anywhere near us in NC, I got to get my Slurpee fix.

Thanks for the tips & the great website! We will check some of these for availabilities .. if anyone has any other experiences - good or bad - I'd love to know before we book! :)

Stayed at Tropical Palms for the week of the 4th. We had a great time. It was close to everything and not too far from WDW. Even have a kids play room with all kinds of crafts, movies, toys, etc open each day.
