Other Attractions Near WDW?

So in Jan. we are going to WDW for about 8 days, actually we are going to WDW for 6 days, and 2 days to Universal, we are going in a group of about 7-8 and we are all in our mid 20's, what other attractions, or ideas is there for us to do during the night, or cool things we should see while we are in florida, we will have a rental car so we should be able to get around pretty easily.

Old Towne use to be okay - but not sure now.

Thanks, i didnt even think about sea world, that would be great. isnt there a street near WDW that has all kinds of kampy souviners, but all the buildings are designed really crazy, like giant wizards or space ships??

You may be thinking about some of the tourist gift shops along SR 192 (Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway) in Kissimmee. These shops are mixed in along with the hotels, restaurants and other stores over several miles rather than being concentrated in just one area.

I don't think its open past sunset, but Showcase of Citrus is just a short drive from Kissimmee and SO much fun. Besides picking oranges, you can sample oj, honey and slushies all made there. Lots to buy and try. Just check out the website of the same name if you are interested. We go once a year!!

You might enjoy the Blue Man Group show in the City Walk area near Universal (usually there is a nightly 8 p.m. show). They have a great permanent venue for this. So much better to see this in Orlando or Las Vegas vs. a traveling show.
