im thinking of buying park tickets for 6 out of the 8 days of my vaca? besides the resort pool, what other adventures can we do?

do you have to pay to get into downtown disney - disney quest? if so, how much? is is considered another "park"?

OP: Yes, it does cost to go to Disney Quest, but not Downtown Disney (except it's very easy to spend beaucoup bucks there). If you get the Park Hopper and More tix, they include DQ -- I think it's between $35-40 for a day visit. Once you're past 3 or 4 days for tix, the addt'l days don't cost much -- and I've never found 6 days to be enough, even in the "off-season" (you will need to prioritize what you want to do in the Parks). You will find tons of good tips and advice as you surf around on DIS -- be sure to use the Search function about any questions you have (find out about Fastpasses, Photopass, Dining Plan, etc.).
