ot: what to do with custom clothes that dont fit anymore?

I have a bunch of clothes that were custom made with the name "Kaleigh" on them. I have no clue what to do with them!! we seem to be the only ones to spell Kaleigh the way we do... any ideas??

She turned 3 in November. Her middle name is Paige.

I would try Ebay - I often search for things with my neices unique names (Lachlyn and Carrigan). I would not hesitate to buy custom clothes with their names.

Aww...that would've been neat! Yeah she is average height for her age but skinny. The thought was nice! I would try craigslist as some people out of the area do a general search and you could include shipping in your price (via paypayl for transactions). Or give ebay a shot! Good luck!

My sister likes to embroider my Dkids names on clothing as a gift (LandsEnd , l.l.bean) DS has an unusual name and DD has a name that has become popular since she was born.

I was able to find people to pass on DD's things but still have my DS's shirts and jackets with his name and/or initials. They are good clothes--held up well to wash & wear. I even tried to cut/snip threads of embroidery to remove name so someone else could easily use it--haven't quite been able to remove all threads very neatly.

I have been working on a quilt made from my DDs Disney customs. Some of the applique work is just amazing and when they outgrow them I just can't seem to part with them! They are full of memories for us.

I cut each appliqued area out with plenty of room for a border, and save them as quilt blocks. Someday we'll have enough to put together a wall quilt or at least pillows for their beds.

Now that DD is a toddler and into more messy activities at school, I've started buying 2nd hand clothing for her to wear just to school. Honestly, you may get parents like me who wouldn't care what name is on the shirt or you may find parents who's child's name is spelled just like yours.
