Does anyone have any suggestions for eating out at VA Beach? I'll be there next month for a week celebrating my 25th wedding anniversary. I know for sure I want to go to Beach Bully and Harpoon Larry's but am also looking for a seafood buffet that serves mostly steamed not fried food. Oh and also some place to get some great she-crab soup. :) Any suggestions will be welcome.:goodvibes

Thanks :cool1: :beach: :rainbow:

I haven't been down there for a good 4 years, but you are taking me back! Mmmmm....Harpoon Larry's! If they have it get the key lime pie. No joke. ;) There are a ton of seafood joints down there. Your best bet is to call the hotel you're staying at and ask the people where they would eat and let them know what you are looking for.

BTW, Happy Anniversary! :goodvibes

We always went to Frankie's Ribs (I think that how you spell it). It is a couple blocks back from the oceanfront, midtown I think. We often went over to the Lynnhaven area, too, and ate at the chain restaurants.

We always eat a Capt. George's when we are there. The kid's love crab legs and although it is a chain, the crab legs are always good. We have also eaten at a few restaurants down there that did not have free refills on drinks and I didn't realize this until I got the check. I wish I could remembers the names of the restaurants, but I can't.
