Does anyone have this. My 3 year old DD really wants this for Christmas and I was just wondering what your opinions were of it. Is it worth the money?

My daughters love this!!!! We have this one and the older one that talks I think it was the townhouse. They play with it all the time I love that it can fold up and that I can go buy furniture for the different rooms they really enjoy it. You can also buy the people individual also this is one of their favorite doll houses they have had we had it for 2 years and it holds up very well.

We own this house. It was the big gift for my oldest dd the year she was 5...she is now 7. She and her sister (2...3 in Dec) play with it on a fairly regular basis and in fact at this point the younger gild probably likes the house more than the older girl.

I think it is a great toy. We bought a whole bunch of room sets to make the house more fun, but the stuff is well made and kid friendly...we have had no issues with breaking or anything falling apart and the items have not been gently handled. I have spent many hours playing house with both girls.

ToysRus often has a buy one, get on free special on this line of toys, and the year we bought for dd I actually bought our niece a house as well...so each house cost $25 - now that was a bargain!

The other good thing, this toy really holds it value well. I had originally planned to buy a used house on Ebay thinking that would be a better deal. Well, the prices for used were crazy (lots of grown up collectors who drive the prices up).

I actually found an older house at a yard sale and paid $1 for it. I cleaned that house up and I was able to sell it for almost what I paid for the 2 brand new houses! Kinda crazy! Anyway, once dd's are finished, I have no doubt I will easily make money on the house when I sell it.

If you are talking about the Fisher Price Lving Family twin time dollhouse (and I think you must be :goodvibes ), DD4 loves it and has played with it daily since she got it last Christmas. She likes it much better than the wooden Plan Toys dollhouse that was her sister's.

As the PP said, watch for deals at Toys R Us. They recently had the buy one get one free, but they might have it again before Christmas.

My DD's 2&4 love this as well. The buy 1 get 1 free thing is usally in Feb. and October.

Great toy! DD got it for Christmas 2 years ago from my MIL and we waited to put it out for a long time, mostly because 1. we thought it was going to take up too much room and 2. we didn't realize it comes with a lot of furniture already. Well, 1. it folds up nicely and doesn't at all take up too much room, 2. plenty of furniture in the house without having to buy extra unless you want it totally furnished (our kiddos don't care). And mostly - DD (4) loves playing with it and now her brother (2) is having a lot of fun with it too! GREAT toy and gift! :thumbsup2

This is my DD big gift from Santa this year! She will be 4 in March. We showed it to her one day at TRU and this is all she talks about! I can't wait for her to get it!! We wanted to get her one last year, but we figured she was still just a little too young for it, so I have been waiting over a year to buy it. I just finished buying the rooms to go with it. Can't wait:)

With all the recalls, I have to ask... where was it made. I am planning to get it for my dd 3 1/2 for Christmas, but I am nervous now.

My DD4 got this 2 years ago for Christmas and still plays with it every day. It's really well made and cute as the dickens. I really appreciate the way they've made the furniture...almost all the small parts are connected to the furniture in some way (the pots in the kitchen, for example, are tied with string so they can't be lost...just long enough to be playable, but can't get lost.) Since I also have a DS who is an infant, this is important to us!

DD has long since lost the dolls that go with the dollhouse, but Kelly dolls are a pretty good fit, as are the Madame Alexander dolls that McDonalds gives out once a year or so. That's pretty much what she uses to play in the dollhouse.

It was a great buy for us!
