Also, but only if you have time, could you ask whether it's possible to get a vegetarian main course if you book the Christmas Eve meal at Walts please? I know there is a vegetarian menu, but I've had a look at the Xmas menus and only the main course has meat (we both eat fish)?

I lol ed at that - Much as the idea is tempting and I am not one to turn down a challenge I think that it will have to remain an unfillable wish

I guess that is the closure for putting the Christmas decor into place not that that is going to appease your little boy much

I will keep everything crossed that the dates will move

I believe that is why it's closed. I thought it'd be ready for the start of the Christmas season so was gutted when I heard it would be closed.

Thank you I felt suitably guilty towards you all indoors hard at it while I was in 26° heat wandering around DLP but I've flooded the forum with pics to make up for it

Don't be daft Lucy It took all of 5 minutes to get copies. There's a normal menu, a childrens menu and a végé menu and the 2nd sitting has more food on it.

Where did you see the menus and I'll tell you what if anything is different

Makes for some interesting and lip-smacking reading.

I think I might try phoning to find out whether they allow mix-and-match menus - no capon for me, but the rest of the 'standard' menu looks lovely.

That's the ones I've got I don't see why they can't give you risotto say instead of the chapon if you request it ahead of time, they are very accommodating in there I find
