OT- priceline question/name change

I am attempting to get a priceline room in my area for my parents to visit us.

I have a question regarding name on the room and such. We would make the reservation with our credit card and go from there.

Can I then add my parents name on my reservation? Or can I just check in for them and give them the key? I'm wondering if its best for me to just check in the room (it would be a hotel in my town) get the key and then give it to them when they visit.

How would you go about this?

If you are successful then the room will be in your name so I think that you would have to check them in. I don't think it would be necessary to add them since no one checks to see who is actually in the room. In fact when I checked them in, I would have my parents give them their credit card for room charges unless I wanted to pay for everything.
