Evening all, i'm back from a wonderful day at work

It's three years today since my Dad died so I've been feeling a bit sad today.

Ooh I just saw one thing I am getting my baby nephew, a sensory soft tigger toy! It is on line at the disney store, do you think I will be able to get it in a Disney store or at DLP so I can use my shareholders discount?

If they did have it in DLRP it will probably be cheaper to buy in the UK as the Euro price is usually a very poor conversion of the £.

So what else did you FSIL do at DLRP to irritate you? I still can't believe the man in suit comment.

Good point Nikki, I think I'll check out the Disney store next time I am near one. We are going to Birmingham this weekend so I'll find a store there.

The time on this DIS board is different?! I thought I was going mad for a sec - it said 9.44 on my pc.. then when I had posted the msg, it said on the msg that it was 9.25. Has it always been a bit behind? (Just never noticed it)

Yes its always been different (or at least for a while) - it makes me feel I dont go to bed quite so late so I dont mind

She had a go at me for spoling Kyra, and even told my mum that i spent too much money on her. Mum stuck up for me and said that shes my daughter so i should be allowed to spend my money on her.

The looks she threw when i woke up every morning at 6am and got up to get ready while she stayed in bed.

The way she spoke to Kyra in a stupid voice.

Moaned that the queues where longer to meet the characters than the rides.

Complained about the food and her feet. She should of sat down for a while if they hurt that much.

Insulted Its a Small World and wouldnt comprimise and go on rides for Kyra when Kyra had to wait for everyone to do the coasters etc.

I think the man in a suit comment killed me though. Disney characters are as real as you make them and I know i Met the real pooh bear. He was no man in a suit.

Yeah, you can spend what you want on your daughter. I too will be up at 6am every day, in breakfast for 7am, then time to get ready, take some pictures in front of the Disneyland hotel with no one else there as others will be stuck at security, then we will be 1st in line at the gate!! Last trip I was the 1st person in both parks for 3 days in a row!!

Yeah, you can spend what you want on your daughter. I too will be up at 6am every day, in breakfast for 7am, then time to get ready, take some pictures in front of the Disneyland hotel with no one else there as others will be stuck at security, then we will be 1st in line at the gate!! Last trip I was the 1st person in both parks for 3 days in a row!!

Do your mum and dad know what they are letting themselves in to?

Probably not, they are earlier risers though. Not so sure how they will respond to the Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party that we have tickets for though!! Hey, they will get into the spirit of it!! I've told my dad he has to be on his best behaviour as we are staying in a posh hotel. My dad is a Yorkshire man, so doesn't really do posh!! My mum is looking forward to it though!

I'm sure we will have a great time. This trip is wierd though. Usually I obsess before every Disney trip, write a thorough pre trip diary and obsess over every detail. This time I've planned, booked the meals and then plan to go with the flow. I never just go with the flow at Disney, I always have a plan! maybe because I've been enough now I figure I can go with the flow in an educated and planend manner!!
