I am shocked an appalled at how much some Halloween costumes are!!

I'm not dressing up, I would but Pete won't and I can't imagine my mum and dad wanting to dress up!!

I've been creating today at work. We are doing woodwork in DT (we are making log houses) - I have 23 kids aged 8 using saws tomorrow! Eeek. Anyway, my assistant and I were making a demo one and we were using the hot glue gun and I burned my finger. So now I have a blister on the end of my finger!!

DD is going on a school trip tomorrow to a hat factory - thay're making hats

I'm not dressing up, I would but Pete won't and I can't imagine my mum and dad wanting to dress up!!

How did your demo one turn out?

Ours was OK, so far I have a wooden frame held together with cardboard triangles and a hot glue gun. Tomorrow the kids are cutting their wood (I really hope they can measure properly!!) Then whilst 12 kids are painting lollypop sticks brown - to look like wood, the other 12 will be with us whilst we hot glue gun their frames together. Obviously the kids won't be touching the hot glue gun!! It should be chaos!! lol

We have chicks in our room at the moment. We do this thing called living eggs. We have 12 eggs in an incubator and then we watch them hatch and then keep them for 2 weeks. Then they go off to a free range farm.

Some hatched today in one of the classrooms and the rest will hatch tomorrow. Ours hatched earlier in the week. Have any of you seen a chick hatch? It's amazing!!
