OT: Out Magazine Question

For those that read Out magazine, is it a primarily a gay magazine, or does it represent the lesbian community equally? I got a subscription offer that is near to nothing in cost, but I am not sure if a subscription would be of interest to me. If it's like Instinct I'll pass. No offense to the guys here, but Instinct just isn't my cup of tea. I tried looking on Out's website, but it didn’t really give me enough info to answer the question for me.

I've not looked at Out in a few years, but last I knew it was inclusive of Lesbians, but not primarily devoted to Lesbian issues. I think that magazine folded a number of years ago.

I remember enjoying Out though. Go to the library and have a look at the current topics and see if you like it before you commit?

Wanna hear something wacky? For some reason, Out is being sent to my house but we never subscribed. It just showed up one day and keeps coming.

I hate to say it but I really don't read it too much. Just flip through it so I can't say that it's an equitable distribution of gay and lesbian issues. I think it might be but perhaps someone else can shed more light.

From what I've seen and read in Out..it's main point seems to be male oriented. Like others have said, they touch on lesbian ideas every now and then but if you want something that is only lesbian I would go with Curve or better yet Girlfriends mag. I love them both.

Out is definetly male oriented.I subscribe to the Advocate and occasionally they send me issues of Out to try to get me to subscribe.
If youre a guy, i imagine seeing Reichen Lemkuel (sp?) half naked on a 3 page article /spread is kinda cool but it was not my cup of tea, lol.

Woo-hoo! I guess! I had never heard of this guy but hearkening back to a thread long long ago and far far away he is DEFINITELY celebrity crush material!!!! (Crushes don't have to be realistic, you know...)
