Hello!

I am window shopping for the new baby.

I had previously asked about the new Britax Clicktight. As intriguing as that is, it is only available in a convertible seat (and other modelsthat are not the infant seats). I am pretty sure we would like an infant seat to start.

The stroller that catches my eye is the Chicco Urban. I want a stroller with bassinet capabilities. Any opinions on this? Any less expensive strollers out there with bassinet that accomodates a car seat also? (Obviously not at the same time.)

The car seat that goes with it is the Chicco KeyFit and Keyfit30.
I was wondering if anyone has any reviews of that car seat.

We had a Chicco infant seat the last time. Not sure which model. But the harness straps drove me nuts. They just seemed awful close together and it always felt like I had to contort the newborn to remove them from the seat. I am not sure if this was designed for safety, but other brands with other babies did not give me the same trouble. I am most specifically seeking opinions on how easy it is to get baby in and out of the seat.

We used the keyfit30 and loved it. Easy to use, snap in and out, etc. We didn't really like the stoller that went with it, but it was just the basic model, not the one you're talking about

Love the Keyfit 30 and super love the Keyfit caddy. Great storage and steers so easily. I am always sad when my kids outgrow the infant seat because I love the caddy so much!

I did a LOT of research when I was pregnant and ended up getting the Chico Keyfit 30 for our twins and was very happy with them.

I got a Chicco keyfit with stroller for my last baby and every time I used it, I wished I'd gotten the Britax. The canopy on it drove me nuts.

We had a Chicco KeyFit 30 and I loved it. When you were taking your baby out of the carseat, did you loosen the straps up to remove the baby, and then tighten them each time you put baby back in? That makes it really easy to put the baby in/out of the seat, and is how the straps are meant to be used.

I know you were probably doing this, but I had a friend who wasn't and it made her life so much easier when i pointed out that the straps could easily be loosened, so just thought I would mention it just in case.

We had the same experience!! I was super bummed when we could no longer use the caddy and had to use a "real" stroller!

After the caddy, we use a City Mini GT and love love love it.
