Thanks:thumbsup2

Think I spend way too much time on ebay- keep finding dodgy listings for DLRP stuff! Not sure whether to post the link or not on here?

OMG!!!!! No way a shareholders card.

I know!!!! I've emailed the shareholders club but don't think they are there until Monday now:mad: surely it's a breach of the terms and conditions of the club!

Sure someone mentioned recently that they were asked for additional ID when they tried to go into Saloon Mickey - obvioulsy they've had probs with people passing their cards around. Mine only leaves my purse if I'm buying something:lmao:

It be cheaper to buy shares then spending what that person is asking for the card.

What if a woman buys the card and its in a mans name?

I know they didn't even look at the card half the time I handed it over in the shops but surely they ask for member number and name if you were booking rooms or tickets etc so really it would only be any good to someone else for shopping or resturants:confused3

Emma - not sure if you know this already but thought it might be helpful to you travelling on your own on eurostar - you can get someone to help you put your bags etc onto the train and they will radio ahead so someone will meet you the other end to help you off:thumbsup2

No way, is this from Ashford? How do i arrange this? I never knew this at all.

Well it died on me again today - This time I managed to open the bonnet and fix it myself (I impressed myself :lmao:) but then it kept cutting out on me so I ended up taking it home and dumping it. Its been back to where we bought it and seems ok now (I hope)

Fingers crossed Small World, I'm really impressed you managed to fix it yourself if only for a while.

Yep from Ashford:thumbsup2

Altho' I'm travelling with DIL I've got a back problem which means I have difficulty lifting things so I asked if there was any assistance available and they said to go the desk (help desk i think) when we arrive and they will arrange some help for us getting on and then someone would be there to meet us and help us off. Wasn't sure we'd need it but DIL is seriously suffering with siatica at the moment and we're both hobbling round like little old ladies so will def be making use of it:)

I'm presuming it's available for anyone not just those with disablities but may be worth you ringing the eurostar and checking - you could always say you had a bad back when you get there;)

Thanks Suzi :thumbsup2, That will be a big help if they help me. Kyra hates the stairs getting on the train and holding her and lugging stuff on the train is very difficult.

Shame we're not going at the same time as you (we go 28/9) as was going to suggest meeting up at the station - I thought the 3 of us could surely manage to get 3 suitcases, 2 buggies and 2 little kids on the train:lmao:

Ah that would of great, a DIS meet at Ashford station :lmao:

Last time i was shocked at how rude people were, i was struggling to get on the train and nobody helped me they just stood and watched.

I know - why do people have to push and shove - everyone's got a numbered seat anyway:confused3

Last time we went DIL took the 3 kids to their seats, I watched the suitcases while OH and DS loaded them onto the train, then some really bossy woman came along and was directing people to the other end of the carriage saying there was more suitcase racks that end as well, we presumed she worked for eurostar as she was wearing a navy suit. When we were all in our seats this woman was arguing with a couple a few seats in front of us, telling them they were in her seat:confused3 So the train pulls off and she parks herself on the empty seat by the storage racks, as soon as a train official came through the carriage she grabbed him and said someone was in her seat - it ended up with 3 eurostar personnel coming to look at her ticket - yes someone was in the seat number on her ticket BUT her ticket was for the train to BRUSSELLS:lmao::lmao::lmao:
