ok - translated into simple English:

I'm still doing my course. I have one more piece of work to do, but I keep getting distracted by things and so I don't do my work. However, I'm determined today to finish my last bit of my work, so I can then read it and make sure I haven't made any mistakes.

Getting distracted is a bad thing! Still it's the weekend so I think you can have a few distractions, just not too many. The end is near!! :goodvibes

Not sure - I keep finding other things to spend my money on, plus with Disneyland booked for December I'm not sure if I'll find the time. My latest thing is that I want to add on an extra day to Disneyland so I can go and visit sea world and do the dolphin interaction session.

I do keep thinking about it though - possibly halloween but I'm not sure. Part of me is also Paris'd out though so I won't be too upset if I don't get to go again this year...

i would love to visit the original disneyland one day. but for now paris is more than enough. every time i hear the words disneyland and halloween i get jealous at whoever gets to go :rotfl2:

i would love to say something really nice but i guess no your not :rotfl:

but a great person other than that :rotfl2:

im so mean sorry lol

:lmao: At least you speak the truth.

The weekends are just as dangerous for me though ;)

The bigger problem now is my reading speed - I've got about 16,500 words to read through and check for mistakes and I don't exactly read very quickly. I'm actually tempted to pass it on to Small World as I know she reads much quicker than I do and as it's more a grammar check, she wouldn't even need to understand what I've written :lmao:

Yes - I'm already visiting several other parks in the area (Magic Mountain, Knott's Berry Farm and Universal) but I'd also like to do Sea World as well.

It's £200 more for the extra hotel night and to change the flights, so it's definitely affordable.

It's my 25th this year and I'm going the weekend immediately following my birthday so I'm trying to make it as special as possible :goodvibes

last time I did a project of this size (2 years ago when I finished my first degree), I found something that could read my writing out loud. I'm tempted to do that again this time to be honest...

I can't remember now unfortunately - it was a free thing for Microsoft Word.

I think my new computer can do this without having to download anything though - I'll have to investigate when I get a chance.

i hope it does, it must have been hard enough to get it all done never mind having to read back through it all now.

Yes - the proof reading is the bit I hate most of all... I've been working at this project since just after Christmas and the degree overall has taken two years which is why I'll be so glad to get it all over and done with :thumbsup2

Did you say a 16,500 word essay Rob?

It's a little different to an essay as I have to write different chapters but yes it's 16,500 words and is a single piece of work. Each chapter is about the length of an essay at about 2,000 words or so.

That's not counting the thing I had to make that the 16,500 word "essay" is about.

:scared1: rather you then me.

The end is in sight Rob - hope you are planning to celebrate when you finish

Hi all

Hope you all had good days. We had lovely weather here so took the girls to the beach this am (it's about a 5 min walk from where we live!) and then DD1 got her paddling pool out in the garden this afternoon :goodvibes

Nothing much else happening here.

UKStitch - I have to say, I couldn't be bothered proof reading all that - what I used to do was proof read a chapter as a wrote it - prob not the best advice though as not sure what it read as a whole - I got a First though so it couldn't have been that bad :rotfl2:
