Good morning - just popped to say hi to everyone who uses this thread! I am Sarah from Wales - lovely sunny weather here today which makes a change - only 5 days until we leave for Disneyland Paris and I am soooooooo excited!

Welcome to the crazy house Sarah. I wish I was going again soon. October looks like it maybe for us as my cousin mentioned it last night. It will all depend on what happens this weekend with her

The rain this morning cleared and its been so hot again all day - unfortunately I had already left for work wearing my boots so Ive been really hot all day

I left my son a note this morning asking him to keep an eye on the washing, course it poured it down mid morning and then for the rest of the day it's been so hot! Washing was still out when I got home from work this evening, turns out he didn't even realise it had rained!

But did you actually tell him to bring it in if it rained or just keep an eye on it - he could look at it through the window getting wet and still be doing what you asked

Earlier in the week I had a confirmation email from RS Transports giving me details of where they would pick us up and times, then today I've had another two emails titled 'RSLogo' first one was details for pick up and the second email details for pick up from the hotel - at the bottom it says 'submit' - 'close' - 'cancel' - anyone have any idea what I do with these emails, do I have to confirm (I've already paid them in full) - I have printed them out along with the other one from before.

Have phoned the doctors and they said no she won't be tested They also said she shouldn't be off school but the 3 children who now have it looked fine yesterday! So I'm thinking how many kids will look fine today and have it tomorrow!

Nobody at all seems to be quite sure what to do about Swine Flu at the mo! The current mode of dealing with it is confusing as everyone is treating the situation differently

My brother was barred from college on the last week because his Biology teacher said he looked awful and he had flu like symptoms so he had his coursework deadlines extended to september now. He didnt have Swine Flu in the end and is now off in America visiting a friend for summer

Alas then dad came home Friday with flu like symptoms but doctors refuse to see anyone here reporting as such. So he tried to continue on, it wasnt till Saturday night it was bad enough he had to call the doctor to diagnose him - Mom was called off her shift asap when he called but Tesco's say I must come in unless I actually catch it We had to have a friend pick up the Tamiflu next day for us as well.

If its any consolation to those concerned - me nor my mother have caught it so far and apparently we can move about but must keep up hygene standards

He's been in bed the past 3 days and cant watch anything that moves without it hurting his eyes and head and unable to do much. A real shame as he was supposed to be graduating today! We hope to celebrate once he recovers

Morning. My excitement has been replaced by total exhaustion. Only an hour and a half til we go. OH still not home from work and I feel like I'm doing everything.

Buttercup - sorry to hear about Amber's class - what a nightmare. You don't know what to do for the best. I just wish they'd get a vaccine out soon - I'm not so worried about me, it's my littlies I worry about

My Mum had a flu-ey thing about two weeks ago - only lasted 48 hours tho and then DD2 (13 mths) got it - she was poorly for about a week - no gastro symptoms though which I think is the main difference bet swine and normal flu???

Things must be hotting up with it though as I rang my GPs for an appt for DD1 yest and the telephone message has been changed to say 'If you are ringing and have flu like symptoms, please ensure you tell the receptionist when you speak to her'.....! Lord knows what this winter will bring

My nephew who is 18 months now has it! We haven't seen him for a couple of weeks so am not too worried about my two just yet but it really seems to be spreading a lot round here! Am just hoping I can put mine in a bubble!
