Urgh, I've got a horrible cold........

I was kinda hoping it's swine flu so I'm all immune in time for my WDW trip, but I think I'd be bedridden if it was flu......

I don't believe this.... My rabbits have clawed/bitten a hole in the side of their hutch!! We've had to block it up with a big pile of bricks.... Jesus, its not easy looking after them! The half wild is really coming out the older they get.... Luckily I still love them to absolute bits!!

I bought a Pandora bracelet today for DD's birthday. Just got the one charm as they didn't have that wide a selection in the jewellers. Its a suitcase with paris on it to signify her surprise birthday trip to you guessed it .....

Evening all, I am shattered! I just got back from my 3 day residential with my class. I did some of the activities with them too which was fun!!

Talking of school trips, we have ours next Wednesday, we are going to Drayton Mannor. We too nearly had to cancel ours, as it is a fun trip school can not pay towards it (on curriculum trips if you can't afford to go school pays and you still go), luckliy enough paid in the last 2 days, so only 10 kids are not going (out of 4 classes)

Well I am aching, so off for a bath!

Swine flu seems to be closing in, there are 80+ cases in Strood the town next to me alone and i know there are cases nr where my mum works.

I'm hoping it doesnt make it to Kyra's school. Looks like we are locking our selves in this Summer, im not taking any chances

There is now a confirmed case at my Daughters school. We received a letter last Friday.
I am still sending her as none of us fall into the at risk category. I think most parents are still sending all bar a few.
My friend is one of them not sending her son, she is 7 months pregnant so i can understand why. She also has a 3 year old. Her own midwife said she would not take the risk if it were her.

I just hope and pray we don't come down with it just before or whilst we are away.

I'm shocked at how fast its spreading round Medway, just been told its at the school round the corner from my mums aswell (i walked past there the other day )

I mean i dont care if i get it, its Kyra i worry about. I dont know what the risk to her will be as she carries the sickle cell trait and if it will affect that.

Its only a matter of time untill someone in her school comes down with it.

Think i need to go stock up on face masks.

I'm slightly confused.

My daughter was baptised/christened by my brothers best friends FIL. I just emailed the Reverened about obtaining a copy of her certificate as we have lost ours and im confused as to weather i baptised her as a Christian or a Catholic. I'm a christian.

I know this sounds terrible but what is the difference, this is the churchs website address http://www.anglicancatholic.org.uk/church-of-our-lady-of-walsingham-and-saint-francis/

Can anyone enlighten me? It says its a anglian catholic church, so does this mean Kyra is catholic or is she both?

I must sound so dumb lol.
