I can't understand why you aren't allowed to take pictures of yourself in them, it's all very stupid.

Its basically incase you then take the picture to a dressmaker who will then produce a very similar dress for a fraction of the price... I was reading in the paper the other week about a woman who ordered her dream dress for £1000.... The dress company accidently sent the bill to her (Not the shop), and the dress only actually cost £240... The rest was purely mark up by the dress shop.... Shocking really. I know they're an important part of a wedding, and people want their big day to be perfect, but I don't think a mark up like that is really justifiable.... :sad2:

Thats a bit of a increase! Ouch.

Its awful really, isn't it? I was really starting to dread buying a wedding dress as I thought I was going to have to go down the traditional route, and be charged a bomb in the process (Two things I wasn't keen on! :lmao:) But when my Mum suggested her friend making my dress, I was over the moon as it means I've got exactly what I want for a fraction of the price (Similar dresses cost three times what I'm paying for the dress, petticoat and my corset!)....

Anyhow, whats everybody been up to today?

I'm great thanks, just realising our Disney trip isn't that far off!!
Have got to find out how we are getting to (and from) the airport at this end and also I need to book RS Transports from CDG - I need to wait until I get paid though!

We've never used them before, but after last years fiasco with VEA I don't want to do that again!
