Gosh, where is everyone?

I had to take DD to get her teeth taken out today ready for her brace. She was sedated and remembers absolutely nothing.
She was very funny when we went to see her in the recovery room, she was completely out of it and looked up smiled and said "you have 2 heads and 2 mouths"
By the time we got home an hour later she was back to normal.

:rotfl2: but were you back to normal or did you still have 2 heads and mouths?

:rotfl: I am pleased to say that by the time we arrived back i only had the one head and one mouth.

I think it is a fantastic way of removing a childs teeth. I remember when i had 4 teeth removed when i was young ready for my brace and the experience was horrific. :scared1:

I had my teeth removed under general and it was much more pleasant. I hate needles though, so I hate having locals given to me and particularly in the mouth as that needle always looks huge :scared1:

On a completely unrelated note (and I know nobody here will care but I'm going to share anyway :rotfl:)....

My laptops shipped :goodvibes

Don't they just.

She could have had a general if i had of pushed for it because of where the teeth were but the dentist said she would be fine under heavy sedation and although she wouldn't actually be asleep she would not remember a thing.

He was right of course.

Sounds good to me - I wonder if they do that for fillings ;)

Your trip is getting closer Brigette - these last few weeks will fly by

Yes i know, we are all getting very excited now. All the tickets are brought and paid for it's just the spending money to change up. Trying to predict what the $ will do against the £ is a nightmare. I am afraid to say i have become slightly obsessed checking at least 5 times a day. :sad2:

I have also ordered 2 baskets from memoriesbybetsy to be delivered to our room for the girls. She even lets you send things to her to add (which i am doing) and i also ordered a couple of bits from Disneystore.com to be delivered to her house for her to add.

The girls will love that - what are you putting in them?

Leanne (will be 19 but still a child at heart) has got....
A Stitch plush, a Tinkerbell autograph and photo book, a Stitch pen, an Epcot Passport and a refillable mug. I am sending to be added a Stitch Pin, a WallE pin, nightmare before christmas pen set and some pixar top trumps. I have ordered from the Disneystore website a chef piglet bean bag plush, he was in the sale at $3.99 but is fab.

Louise has...
A stitch plush, a Tinkerbell autograph book, a Stitch pen, refillable mug, minnie mouse kooky pen, Epcot passport and an Animal Kingdom passport. I am sending a Stitch and a WallE pin. From the Disneystore.com website i got her a seaside Daisy Duck bean bag plush also in the sale.

I read your post on the community board about the once in a lifetime trips, it sounded fab.

Booking at the last minute too, i would have woke up the morning after and gone into a state of panic. :rotfl2:

Do you think you will you back anytime soon?

Yes I did go into a state of panic I seem to remember. We have been back 3 times since (once after DD was born and that was even more last minute - DH booked a surprise trip 3 weeks before we went) but have no plans to go back at the moment

OMG :scared1: 3 weeks !!

I really do think this will be our one and only trip.
It is so expensive that it would take me a few years to save by which time Leanne will be in her 20's and Louise will probably not want to go.

OMG :scared1: 3 weeks !!

Not sure about 3 weeks notice for Orlando but certainly California was possible on very short notice and in some ways, I enjoyed it more than I enjoy the planned trips to DLRP that I know like the back of my hand.

It was just nice to wander round the park, not knowing exactly what rides I'd find and go at my own pace. I will admit that I took a ridemax plan with me and used it to guide me the first day as I thought it would be my only trip to California, but after the first day, I just went at my own pace with no times, appointments or anything like that to meet.

:wave2: Morning everyone!!

I am soooooooo excited!

I found my wedding dress yesterday and it's all I can think about, and I just can't stop thinking about it or shake my excitement.

Eeeeeeeee, I wish my wedding was now!!

Morning :goodvibes

I'm off to Lakeside today to get DD some school shoes.

Morning

Im not going out at all - DD has woken up with swollen glands in her neck so she is taking it easy today hoping it wont get worse.
