Why did you update your laptop

they are automatic updates i kept postponing them but the other day i turned on my laptop and they started straight away. after that i couldnt log in anymore. i really want to throw it out the window

I can't believe my DD1 is about to start proper school - argh! I have to be honest though and say both she and I are ready for it Nursery (preschool) just wasn't enough for her really. I wonder how she'll cope with the long days but they break them in really gently at our school - she doesn't start full days until week 5!!!!

Sounds awful but I'm actually looking forward to having some time to do things with DD2 on her own - she's really missed out so far as I was tied this last year with preschool pick ups etc. I want to take her swimming and stuff like that - stuff I did with DD1 when she was that age IYSWIM.

I'm sure I'll miss DD1 massively though, said to her on Friday when we were snuggled up watching Mulan while DD2 was having a nap, that I can't believe we won't be doing that any more on an afternoon Don't think she quite understands yet how full on school is - and it is these days for them even at such a young age!

Suzi - glad you emailed the 'Club' - let's hope it's removed before someone bids

awww at least you still have the younger one lol. i am only starting ash off with three days as it lasts for 3 1/2 hours, i dont want to overwhelm her but if she enjoys it i have the option of sending her for the other two days. she will do great. she loves kids, poor girl is staved of interaction with kids as i only have two friends with kids but ash has only seen them once each as they live far away. so she is totally ready. monday two weeks i will be on here for moral support

i dont think so my antivirus should have picked something up.

i think its not compatable with one of the updates but i dont know what it updated so i dont know how to fix it

You could always try using the PM system on here - I've been known to hold PM conversations in the past with people that have required both of us to clear out our PM boxes several times in one evening

I'd forgotten about the maximum number of characters in a PM.
