My seats on different days will be from opposite sides of the stadium in different tiers, so will be good to have different perspectives!

Gotta take the cats to the vets today for their annual boosters. I can't find them anywhere at the mo, it's just typical of them.

I got an email today with a picture of the baskets i had made for the girls for when we go to WDW. They are fab, i am so pleased i did it as they are going to love them.

Scan went well thanks, only one very wriggly baby due on the 15th Jan! I'll post a piccie when I can find the scanner lead!

Wow, those baskets are fab, your girls will be thrilled and I bet the cats have detected something was going on with their sixth sense and done a runner until later lol!

I won't be allowed to go over because of complications that I had with Lottie. It will be baby out by 40 weeks or an elective section!

I am really pleased. I wasn't sure whether to order them at first but now i am so glad i did.
Betsy was fantastic, allowing me to mail the pins to her and also ordering from the Disneystore.com site and having it delivered to her address to add to the baskets.
I even picked the colour for the ribbon and boxes.

I know my trip is 2 months away but i've been having nightmares about Kyra getting chicken pox right before our trip.

Does anyone know what Eurostars policy is on children travelling on there trains with Chicken pox?

I have looked on there website but cannot find anything.

If anyone would like to come and infect my child now with the virus i would be ever so thankful lol.

I just rung Eurostar and they make me laugh.

Basically they said if she has spots she can travel but i still need a note from the doctor.

So are you contagious when you have the spots or are you only contagious before the spots appear?

When i eventually get to WDW i'm going to use Betsy to do a package for Kyra aswell.

There's a bit of debate as to when exactly you are infectious!

A person with chickenpox is infectious from two days before the rash first appears until all the spots have crusted over (commonly about 5-6 days after onset of the rash). When a child is infectious keep him or her off school or nursery and also away from 'at risk' people who may get a severe illness if they get chickenpox. These include:


Pregnant women who have not had chickenpox in the past. Chickenpox can be severe and cause complications during pregnancy.
People with a poorly functioning immune system. For example, people with leukaemia, with HIV/AIDS, on steroid medication, or who are taking chemotherapy.
The 'at risk' children listed earlier.

Healthy adults who have not had chickenpox may also want to avoid catching it as the illness tends to be worse in adults.

Note: people with chickenpox should not travel by air until six days after the last spot appeared.

So I would say that the same rules for air would apply to eurostar. I know my friends lo came out in the pox whilst out in Portugal and they were basically quarantined and not allowed to fly until all the spots were dry and had to wait six days! Luckily she was staying in her parents holiday apartment!

The woman said that Kyra could travel even if she has spots though, thats what i thought was a bit weird.

She had to go and ask someone, she really had no clue and just told me to bring a doctors note.

Fingers crossed Kyra gets it before School closes for the term or the 1st week she goes back, or that she doesnt get it at all. I don't want to get stuck in France.

We're lucky that Lottie had it last summer (admittedly for the second time!), so am hoping she doesn't get it again lol!

As long as all the spots are scabbed over, they're no longer infectious. It's when they're still open that the risk of infection to the child increases aswell because you have all these open little wounds and a run-down child.

Most nurseries/schools will take them back once the spots have scabbed over otherwise Lottie would've been off for about a month, it took ages for hers to dry up properly!
