I'm off to see Green day at the O2 on Saturday

I've had the ticket booked for quite a while. The original plan was to book a hotel room, but then I discovered the cost of a room (about £80) and realised it would be much cheaper to get a train back to one of the major stations near us and then get a taxi from there if there's no trains home (it's about 10 miles or so from the major stations to home so even at crazy hours it's not likely to cost £80 for a taxi).

I've just noticed that all our Mickeypath tickers seem to have disappeared.

I'm hoping they'll come back because they're from a couple of things I've really enjoyed so it would be a shame to lose them

I didn't particularly think of that, mainly because mickeypath is a third party and not affiliated in any way with DIS so I figured it's not something to raise as anything more than an observation specifically on these boards

Had some good news over the weekend, found out that i'm not working Christmas eve or day (unless I get my transfer meaning my rota will change). Also had my leave granted for New York, just waiting for the hotel to confirm the room

Have a little boy at pre-school who loves to sing Mika songs, then he announces he doesn't like Mika but his big sister does!

I'm off work with swine flu... In quarrantine until Friday evening.... I feel dizzy and in pain and generally shocking...

On the plus side, the estate agents rang yesterday to say that we'd got our house!

I've got two of my three off work ill with some sort of flu virus, DS has been the worse and I actually rang the Swine Flu phone line on Monday morning just to make sure he didn't have Swine Flu. The fact that his temperature was being controlled with paracetamol did make me think he just had normal flu.

Well my son does have Swine Flu, sent him to the doctors this morning about his cough (he always has to have his chest checked when he gets a cough) and the doctor told him he had swine flu. So he's on antibiotics for a chest infection and Tamiflu.

Hope your son feels better soon It could possibly be normal flu & they are treating it as Swine flu as they are no longer testing people.

Hence why there is a massive spike in cases again. i really think they need to bring back testing.
