OT - now is an excellent time to show support for someone special!!!

I am sure that everyone, or nearly everyone, on this board knows Mickey527 (Peggi) as a very caring person. Right now, there are serious health issues she may be facing that could use your prayers and support.
Over the past few years, pin collecting has brought many wonderful friends into my life - Peggi is one of them - and after all the great support she and others have shown my husband through all the medical problems he has faced, I want to show her the same support!!
The DIS family has weathered the many medical problems of each other in the past, sending along pixie dust, prayers, and kind wishes. I know that with the many generous hearts here, you will come through once again.
If you would like to communicate with her personally, I am sure she will appreciate it or you are welcome to show your support here in this post. Like so many of you, Peggi has a special place in my life too. Thank you so much for reading this post. Caroline

Thank you for the posts here and the e-mails I have received. I will keep everyone posted when I know what is happening.

I had been whining about my torn meniscus and the surgery that was scheduled on September 1, but as of now that surgery has been postponed. I might even skip it completely, my knee feels much better and although it will take longer it will heal on it's own eventually.

Right now I have much more on my mind. I will share some of it with the group but as of now I am in limbo, waiting for test results to return before I know what the outcome will be.
My yearly mamogram came back very bad. The Dr said he has no doubt that it is Cancer but we still have to go through the preliminary biopsies. I will have those done on Thursday and know the results on Monday or Tuesday. From there we will decide on treatment.
So I will continue to post and let you all know, but continue the prayers. Peggie
