Ok, budget buddies I NEED to vent.
My Brother in law DBIL invited the whole family to go on a trip to Pigeon Forge this upcoming weekend. We originally were only going to go Sat/Sunday, but I convinced DH that spending time with the family is a great idea
Boy am I gonna regret this!
My Sister in law DSIL who owns an i-phone, multiple Coach purses, and her newly acquired BMW told my DBIL last night during the family meeting to plan this trip that he needed to stop acting like they were made of money
OK, I had a hard time not losing it on that note, but I digress. Happy faces, and lets make this work. Right?
So, we made plans. Not definitive plans, just ball park ideas of what and roughly when we were going to Dollywood and the waterpark and a few other family things. Well DSIL insisted that she hates eating at the places that the family ALWAYS eats at and hates Dollywood and she will NOT be going as she has plans to hang with her mom that day and shop.
That could be the best thing for all of us actually.
Well this morning, DBIL calls his mom and says, those plans won't work for us at all. We don't want to have to be held to a schedule of any sort. Lets see, this whole trip was his idea. Most of the places we were going were his idea. Most of the eateries were his idea. BUT now he doesn't wanna do this.
What this all boils down to is that DSIL has invited her mom and nieces to go with and SHE doesn't want to do anything with the rest of us (whom she invited in the 1st place).
Deep breath in......out.
I just want it to go on record that I will NEVER invite these idiots to go to Disney with me................EVER!!!!
Acting stupid and ruining a trip to Tennessee is one thing, but mess with my Disney Magic and somebody is going down.
This is not rocket science. There are 17 of us going. In order to make everyone happy we are going to have to separate ALOT and go our own ways. Why has this become such a huge pain in my rump?
Stepping off my soapbox. Practicing deep breathing techniques. Praying ALOT.
I'll post Monday and let you know how it all went.
