I can tell you that I have all girls, but when all three were about 15 months old, I brought out the "potty" and put it in the bathroom. They would go in there when I was and would sit on it (either dressed or not). I did this just so they would get used to it and they could get the "playing" out of the way (you know how they have to take it apart, etc.). At some points they would bring the potty out into the family room and sit on it...hey if it works!! All three of my girls were potty trained by the time they were 24 - 28 months old!! I never pushed them..in fact my oldest potty trained herself..at 18 months she did not like wet diapers..I was having to change her diaper every single time she urinated..FUN!!! I finally told her that she would not have to be wet if she pottied on her potty...that was all it took
!
The best advice I can give you is not to stress about it...it will happen when the right time comes. He will show signs that he is ready and you will know them when they happen, trust me. I can remember being a little stressed with my first one..wondering when the right time would be and would I know it when it came...and it did...it just came when I did not even expect it, but I knew it!!
Good Luck!!
