Joking aside for a second, we do wonder in work how people did our job (computer programming) before the internet. Nowadays, if you don't know how to do something, you go to google, look on a couple of common sights and you find someone who's done exactly what you're trying to do, or at least something similar that will point you in the right direction.

I have great admiration for the people who did my job before the internet - the code was harder anyway (it made less sense), plus you couldn't just look it up on the internet

In fairness, TV is probably more rubbish now!! I swear, if we didn't use it for DVDs and Roberts games consoles we wouldn't bother having one!

I need to be up for about 8:45, which is too early on a Sunday for my liking, especially if I'm tired again. The last thing I want to be doing is falling asleep at my Quaker Meeting - it's peaceful enough that that's a very real danger if I'm too tired...
