Nope, I am dissing in my bedroom with our air con on. Best thing we ever invested in a few summers ago!! DH installed it himself.

We've got the windows open, but its absolutely toasting hot!!

We did that for a few years, then installed celining fans in every room (they work well downstairs where we can have the back door open as well), but then 2 years ago we installed air con in the bedroom. It is wonderful, our room is a cool 21 degrees right now!! Plus as it was a home install it wasn't expensive to do, about £300 at the time.

People, but I guess kind of person...

I was hoping to post it when all the regular posters in this thread who've driven it to 120+ pages and given me cause to make the number of posts I had. So, I was waiting for: you, Mrs Tigger, Bob and Emma.

Other people have helped and come and gone (so I've not forgotten them and they're certainly not excluded from my celebrations , but 75%+ of this thread originates from the 4 of us)

Unfortunately, Mrs Tigger hasn't appeared and is off to Wales tomorrow, so I'll give up on the waiting idea - I can't not post on the DIS until Monday, I'll go insane

Just thought I'd pop in before I start thinking about getting up and ready to go out.

I won't be around a great deal because I'm heading over to Southampton, which takes up my entire morning. I'm also not too sure what I'm doing afterwards yet...

Hurray, I reached 1000 posts!

I was hoping to celebrate it with certain people online, but as that doesn't seem to be able to occur until at least Monday, I thought I'd celebrate anyway.

I'm celebrating here because this thread represents a huge number of my posts, so I thought it more suitable to go here. I'll post a smaller one as a new topic afterwards!
