That is cute! Why wouldn't she just drive it there though? Is there some terms that came with it of not being allowed to bring it to disney? I would think it is just a car now. I am sure people would love seeing it in a parking lot!

Yes, the ears come off. You have to take them off if you go over 50 mph so if you were to travel on a Highway, you would need to take them off. Pretty neat, huh?

I was wondering how that car would pass inspection. Although, there are Oscar Meyer Hot Dog Trucks driving around.

There is a Yellow Bug that an exterminator has turned into a mouse, ears and tail, that I see around town. When the car is going the ears fold down and when the car is going slow or stops they come back up. They must be on springs or something. My DD always loves seeing that car. She would love to see the Mickey Car.

My first thought was that the ears must kill the gas mileage on the car! I'm such a geek!

My second thought was I wondered if they flapped when the car was driven around.

Third thought of course was are they removable, and what kind of tools does one need to take them on and off.

I love that car, I'd be so popular at carpool, i wouldn't need to tape a number on my windshield.

My Mother (certified Disney FREAK) recently purchased a Mickey Mouse Car. Yes that's right, a Mickey Mouse Car!! The Car was made for the Grand Opening of the Tower of Tower for Disneyland in California. It was given away through a sweepstakes, and my Mother purchased it from the winner. I think this car would be GREAT for Disney World to use in a parade, or for people to take pictures with. I am going to be writing to Disney World to see if they can allow my Mother to bring the car to Disney World for purposes such as that. She would LOVE the chance to bring the Mickey Car to Disney for a little vacation. I am thinking about getting a list together of people who would be interested in having the car go to Disney World. If you would like post your name and where you are from below...and maybe a little message about if/why it would be neat to have the car at Disney World....I would appreciate it!! I would like to sent Disney a list of interested people, along with my letter, so they know it would be a big hit!! Thanks guys!!

That is really neat - being a lover of the mouse and mini's (I had a 1968 traveler) I know they are fun cars to drive - I hope you are successful in getting it into WDW so maybe I can see it live during one of our many visits down there -

It's definitely cute! My DD 4 would absolutely love that car. My teenage boys however would have other opinions of driving around in that, I'm sure, LOL.

I entered the contest for that one--I thought it was sooo cute and of course my students would have known right away it was my car!
