I just watched last night's episode. It really seems like the FLocke has alluded that he needs all the possible replacements for Jacob together for him to get off the island. And the Michael remark makes you think the island is some kind of halfway between Heaven and Hell. And his remarks about being sorry refer to the choice he made?
So, I went back and read the wiki on Paradise Lost. In the poem it has God and Satan-Good and Evil fighting. Satan calls the fallen angels to posts to carry out his evil deeds. He even appeared as a serpent. It also talks of God gave man the ability to do as he chose, even if the outcome was sin. Interesting similarities.
Did Desmond run over Locke so the he couldn't become FLocke in the parallel? I'm getting confused on which parallel is reality and which is not. Are they all dead and working in the "Limbo"? And is Desmond going to turn the wheel in the well? The wheel is in the well, right?
