What's everybody having on their pancakes tonight then?? I've been stoking myself up all day for a big mountain of pancakes!

Oh my God. I can't believe it. I've been waiting for one assessment to come back from uni this semester... I got a 75 for it, which means a first, which means I got a first overall for that module! Because of that and the high marks I got for the Animated film module I've pulled my overall uni mark up a grade to a 2:1!!! If I can just keep it up I'll graduate with a much better degree mark than I ever hoped!

We always take it on holiday with us, mainly though to download pictures each night.
Me too - ditto!! And it means I can empty and charge my video camera!I'd forgotten about that - that was a godsend at Disneyland as I took about 400 pictures a day so it was so helpful to be able to clear the card every night and start fresh the next day. It meant I didn't have to worry about space - I could just snap away at everything I liked![]()

Rob, thanks so much for the information, sorry that my question caused so much debate. I was asking because I though it was very neat the way people have logged in here when they visited, plus any photos/videos I take with it can be uploaded straight to my BT Vault.![]()
I'm afraid I'd find it very difficult to live without the internet, I have friends and family that I can only keep in regular contact with on the net, I check my emails several times a day, bank and do almost all my shopping online. I even use my doctors and hairdressers online appointment booking system and I can keep in touch with work. Not that I intend to do any of these things on holiday, but each to their own. I for instance don't understand why young people feel the need to text each other a million times a day. My son comes home from school and then texts the friend he's just walked home with to find out where they're meeting and then they'll text each other several times more before the friend comes to call on him![]()
Bob well done on the gradegreat news.
Evening Nikki - good to hear from you again. Have you had a fun day

Wow that's really good Bob - keep up the good work
Is it possible to do well enough with what you've got left to improve even further or are you just looking to stay at a 2:1?

If I go without saying bye it means my internet time has run out as i'm not sure how it works
we'll let you off Nikki if you suddenly disappear. When I had access through Travel Lodge it just cut off when the time was up
I have to admit to loving the internet, without it I wouldn't have made the friends I've made and I treasure each and every one of them. I do feel 'lost' if I can't log on each day for whatever reason but I've yet to use it whilst on holiday away from home.
I probably spend far more time than I should do online but I find it interesting, educational and at times mind boggling - I wouldn't be without it!
