Poor Bob!! Of course people will go!!! I for one think it sounds awesome and will make up numbers! We could have a DIS table!!

It'll be fine baby, and the only ones who wont go will be the ones you don't want there anyway!!

Other things about the wedding have been winding me up recently, but this one today really pushed me over the edge...

Try to ignore it, weddings are very stressful at the best of times. At the end of the day its yours & Robert's day no one elses. As long as you are both happy with the end result that is all that matters

Hope you do not mind me joining in but I would love to hear what your wedding plans are so far and when you are getting married

Of course we don't mind you joining in! Right, you're lucky- You'll get the abridged version (A lot of other people have had to listen to every detail of the planning and want to shoot me!).... Right, Robert and Me:

got engaged last April on our two year anniversary.... We got engaged here:

(It is actually by a beautiful river, but I can't find my pic of that right now!).... This is my engagement ring:

We're getting married on February 5th, 2010 at my Church (My Father passed away three years ago, and this was 'his' Church, so it means a lot to us to get married there.):

And then we're having our reception at the Alnwick Gardens, in their Pavillion Room:

We're also paying to have the Grand Cascade Fountain lit up for our guests:

We're having an alcohol free bar, but providing alcoholic drinks for the toast and for a welcome, and also wine with dinner. Our main emphasis is on food! Our wedding menu currently stands at:

Canapes:

Mini Crab Cakes
Duck Spring Rolls
Garlic Croutons and Wild Mushrooms (V)

Starters:

Chicken and Pancetta Salad
Tomato and Mozzerella Tart with Balsamic Dressing (V)

Mains:

Supreme of Pheasant with Elderberries and Sloe Gin Jus
Baked Portabello Mushrooms with Blue Cheese (V)

Dessert:

Ginger Creme Brulee with Hazelnut Shortbread


Cake is undecided as of yet....

My dress is going to be like the below one, only in Emerald Green, with Black Petticoats:

My Aunt is a Florist and is doing all our flowers for us, and we're working on wedding transport at the moment... Ahhh Bob , what a thing to say, esp to your own daughter!! Maybe she's getting wedding nerves as well being mother-of-the-bride and stuff lol. You have put so much thought & effort into your wedding and I'm sure everything will go well on the day (and leading up to the day). And hey, if there are those silly billies who do not want to attend your wedding, you'll find out way before time anyway and think of the money you'll save on them and all the extra dosh you'll have to spend in DLRP !!

I start my training for the ambulance service on Monday & I really don't want to. My parents are getting on my nerves. I only applied for the job to get them off my back, I wrote a really bad application but I still got an interview. My mum has been having a go at me for being in a bad mood etc. When I try to explain they won't listen.

It has taken 18 months to get this far with the job, it has been poor from the start.

The annoying thing is I went to college & uni but this job is not using any of those qualifications. I feel I wasted 4 years & got into student debt for nothing
