I do remember Kate saying if the kids needed anything, they had to knock on their bedroom door, not just walk in anytime, as they had before. I think she was trying to get them to understand their need for privacy & I think they are old enough. They're almost 5. I really don't believe she meant they could never ever come in the bedroom.
It's really saddening. You know, I have a good amount of kids, and even though we have tried to tell them not to come in unless it's an emergency, it just isn't in our natures to ignore them or NEVER let them come in. And we do end up in a puppy pile of kids most mornings, but some day, they will outgrow this and we will be alone in our beds, wondering where the time went when they WANTED to cuddle and be near us.
He is only 3 right now though, so maybe in another year he will be 'kicked out'. He will only about 1700 square feet to roam around then poor child.
I have my own issues with potty training DS3 I didnt need to see it on tv.
). We still have a monitor in DD3's room too.
